The next morning, Elena woke up early.
She didn't sleep much.
All night, she was thinking about the woman who entered her house like she was the owner.
Elena went downstairs slowly.
She heard laughter from the dining room.
When she entered, she saw Daniel and Sophia eating breakfast together.
They were talking and smiling.
Like a married couple.
Daniel looked up when he saw Elena.
His face immediately became cold again.
"Sit," he said.
Elena sat silently.
A maid put breakfast in front of her, but she couldn't eat.
Daniel took a document from his bag and put it on the table.
"Sign this."
Elena looked down.
Divorce Agreement.
Her hands started shaking.
"You really want to divorce me?" she asked softly.
Daniel looked at her with no emotion.
"This marriage was a mistake."
Sophia drank her coffee quietly, watching everything like a show.
Elena looked at Daniel.
"Is it because I can't give you a child… or because of her?"
Silence filled the room.
Daniel didn't answer.
But that silence was already an answer.
Elena smiled sadly.
"I understand," she said.
She took the pen.
Her hand was shaking so much she could barely hold it.
She signed her name.
Elena Moore.
Three years of marriage ended in one signature.
Daniel took the papers immediately.
"You can leave the house after the legal process is finished," he said coldly.
Elena stood up slowly.
She looked at Sophia and said quietly:
"Take care of my husband."
Sophia smiled.
"Don't worry. I will."
Elena walked away.
But no one saw the tear that fell from her eye...
