Chapter 13 Farewell
Two years have passed in a flash.
Yun Mu had already reached level 35 Soul Master, but he publicly claimed to be level 31.
But this was still shocking enough, as Hongshan Academy treated him almost like an ancestor.
So even though Na'er didn't awaken her martial soul back then, no one dared to bully her.
The chubby boy used to always hover around Tang Wulin, asking, "Hey, Wulin, do you know? That guy Zhou Shaolong broke through to level ten. What level are you now? I remember you told me you were around level 19. When are you going to break through to level 20?"
"I've already broken through," Tang Wulin said with a simple smile.
"Does your brother go to the same school as you? I feel like he could easily get into a top-tier school," the chubby boy asked.
"Where else can I go if I don't go with my brother?" Yun Mu rolled her eyes and walked over.
Where are you planning to go?
"I don't know either. Who knows where the school will assign me?" the chubby boy said with a smile.
"I don't know where we're going either," Yun Mu said with a smile. "Wu Lin, let's go pick up Na'er."
After saying that, Yun Mu walked towards the classroom door. As for whether get out of class would end or not?
That was no longer a problem for Yun Mu and Tang Wulin.
"Brother, wait for me." Tang Wulin quickly caught up from behind. "Brother, you value women more than your brother."
When Yun Mu arrived at the regular classroom, she stood at the classroom door for a while, and a lot of people gathered around her.
However, many of them dared not approach, partly because of Yun Mu's powerful cultivation, and partly because of his outstanding appearance.
Yun Mu always ignored the sounds around him, the only thing he cared about was the silver figure rushing towards him.
"Brother, I want to eat ice cream." Na'er hugged Yun Mu's arm and said with a smile.
"Okay, go buy it."
"Brother, I want to eat too." Tang Wulin said angrily from behind Yun Mu, glaring at Na'er as he spoke.
Ever since Na'er came to the house, she has always been competing with him for his affection. Although he likes this little sister very much, he still gets angry every time he sees Na'er competing with him for his affection.
Yun Mu glanced helplessly at Tang Wulin and said, "Okay, I'll buy it for you too."
He had indeed neglected Tang Wulin during this period, mainly because he knew that Na'er was about to leave.
When they met again, it was Gu Yue, so he subconsciously cared more about Na'er.
The three of them walked towards the school gate, laughing and talking.
Several days passed uneventfully like this, until one day Na'er said, "Brother Wu Lin, Brother Yun Mu, after dinner, can you come with me to the beach for a while?"
Upon hearing this, Yun Mu froze instantly, knowing that this day had finally come.
Yun Mu and Tang Wulin looked at Tang Ziran.
Tang Ziran nodded and said with a smile, "Go ahead, but come back soon."
After leaving home, it wasn't long before they saw the beach. However, unlike the original story, they were living in an affluent area, but it was just a sea-view house.
The beach here is much better than the one next door, with fine sand, but it still has pebbles and dead seashells.
Yun Mu looked at the silent ocean. If Tang San hadn't taken the Ocean Laws with him back then, would the situation on Douluo Continent be better now?
The sea is still beautiful tonight. With each sea breeze, Yunmu feels her heart gradually expanding.
He spread his arms and said with a smile, "Na'er, Wu Lin, many people say that the sea has become like this because humans have hunted too many soul beasts in the sea, which has aroused the wrath of nature."
"Isn't that right?" Na'er asked, feigning doubt.
Yun Mu gave Na'er a deep look. He knew that the person in front of him was no longer the simple Na'er; she was Gu Yue Na.
"Perhaps the reason for the land's situation is that humans have angered the heavens, but the reason for the ocean situation is definitely not that," Yun Mu said with a smile. "It's because of someone that everyone is familiar with."
"Is the one associated with the ocean Tang San, the Sea God?" Tang Wulin thought for a moment and then asked.
"That's right, it's Tang San. In another version of the story I heard, after becoming a god, he chose to bring the laws of the ocean to the God Realm, causing the core of the Douluo Continent plane to lose control of the ocean."
"Even so, this Sea God Tang San was still not satisfied. I heard that the Star Dou Great Forest wouldn't have become like this back then. It was because of the death of the auspicious beast. And all of this was still his scheme."
"That is indeed possible, because when we studied history, there were records of this. Legend has it that the peerless Douluo from 20,000 years ago could live for a thousand years, but after my Sea God became a god, the Limit Douluo could only live for a few hundred years," Na'er said thoughtfully.
Na'er glanced at Tang Wulin, then looked at Yun Mu, seemingly understanding his intention, and followed his words to tell him what she knew.
Yun Mu gently brushed the sea breeze away, looked at Na'er, and smiled, saying, "Wu Lin, I know you admire Tang San because your martial soul is the same as his—Blue Silver Grass and Clear Sky Hammer. But, your brother, I don't like him."
Without thinking, Tang Wulin blurted out, "If my brother hates him, then I hate him too. I believe my brother. If my brother doesn't like him, then he must not be a good person."
Old Tang inside Tang Wulin stammered, but he couldn't break free from the restraints no matter what he did.
Na'er looked at Yun Mu with a sad expression. Facing the sea, she smiled and said, "There are so many stars today."
"Perhaps it's blessing us, wishing us a bright future," Tang Wulin said with a smile.
Na'er glanced at Tang Wulin with some sadness, and sighed helplessly: "Brother Yunmu, if I leave one day, will you miss me?"
Yun Mu looked at Na'er and nodded. "Of course, but I hope you never leave."
But Yunmu knew that Na'er would definitely leave. She had her own things to do. He hoped that Na'er could spread her wings and soar, rather than being trapped in the warm house of love or family and unwilling to fly.
Na'er looked at Yun Mu: "I'll miss you too, I'll miss you so much." Na'er's eyes were filled with tears.
Actually, judging from their appearances alone, Na'er and Yun Mu really do look quite alike.
Yunmu's hair is becoming less brown and more silver.
Yun Mu gently hugged Na'er: "Na'er, whether we are by your side or not, the only thing you need to do is not let yourself get hurt or sad, understand?"
"Brother, I didn't say I had to leave." Na'er gave a bitter smile.
"Na'er, are you leaving? I... I don't dislike you. Before, it was all a joke. I just didn't want you to keep bothering your brother." Tang Wulin seemed to sense that something was wrong with the atmosphere and said nervously.
