"All these years, men and women of different sorts have come seeking my celestial appearance.....
Well let me tell you. None of them have made it out alive", the guardian teased trying to frighten Chris.
Chris didn't flinch, knowing that the guardian was trying to take advantage of him.
In his first visit here he couldn't remember the guardian speaking to him as he went in search of the celestial order.
He felt spell bound....looking at the beast with a hint of uncertainty.
He activated his V2.
Lightning bolts flowed around his blade.
The guardian didn't worry.
It just raised his hand.
Carefully observed by Chris.
The sharp edges inexplicable.
The guardian only job was to guard the Celestial Order at whatever cost, even if that meant killing Chris.
It pounced.
Trying to slice the body of Chris.
He blocked it with his blade and struck back.
No impact.
Just a loud 'clang' as though metal struck against metal.
The guardian skin coated with acres of the finest metal.
Not easily penertrated by blades, no matter the sort.
Worry began to spread around him.
The guardian lunged again striking Chris' leg.
It felt horrible.
The cut went so deep that it affected his bonal structure.
No backing down.
Chris struck his lightning at the guardian trying to stun him.
It worked, at least Chris thought so.
The guardian was still able to fight back.
It pushed through the bolts of lightning and gave him another sharp cut at his thigh.
Chris dropped to his knees.
The guardian chuckled.
"Your weak.
Weaker than what I thought".
The guardian began circling Chris looking at his ruined state.
"I never expected a weak excuse for a fighter to ever make it this far on this hills.
You don't deserve my celestial appearance.....and you will die trying", the guardian mocked and gestured with his hand.
Chris though was quick to react preventing his potential death.
He placed his blade on the belly of the guardian and stunned it with lightning.
The beast felt that.
A black burn made it evident.
"You're making me mad".
A large heat wave followed next wiping Chris off his feet and out of the guardian sanctuary.
His legs felt paralysed.
Derek and Fidget who had been sidelined watching the fight play out walked over.
"You sure you don't need some help", Derek smirked helping Chris back to his feet.
Despite the struggle and pain, he got up.
Bruises all around his body.
"Don't worry. I got this", the words that followed next as he walked back into the guardian sanctuary.
The guardian looked at him watching his slow and lumpy steps. "You don't give up do you.
Well you will die for that".
Another lunge...another strike.
On his thigh, stomach, back and even face.
Chris laid in the ground once more.
It felt all over.
The guardian thrilled watching the persistent crumble.
The celestial order which he had come to attain still carefully stationed unhinged.
"Well it's been fun", the final words came out of the mouth of the guardian.
Without hesitation, it struck its blade into the ribs of Chris.
"Ahhhhhhhh!!", a loud scream caught Derek and Fidget attention.
"We have to help him unless he is gonna die", Fidget told Derek who watched it all play out.
"Then let's do this".
Derek and Fidget charged into the guardian sanctuary without warning and shot the laser piston at the guardian.
Once they got to Chris, they helped him up and laid him out for Fidget to begin treating him.
His ribs had been pierced so deeply and so badly.
Blood oozed out like a running tap water.
Fidget had to get to work quickly before Chris passed out.
His V2 had been deactivated and he fell unconscious.
**********
Now, another man stood at the centre of the guardian sanctuary.
He held his laser piston and pointed it at the guardian.
He didn't even waste a second before he went into rapid fire.
Firing at any opportunity he encountered.
The technology behind the gun made it that reloading wasn't necessary which gave him a great advantage in the fight.
Nonstop gunfire.
He had already filled up with laser syrum before setting sail into the Beckoning Hills knowing that they would be many challenges faced as he walked across these parts.
He couldn't take any upset....not now.
He kept firing lasers at this guardian.
No time to react.
He just kept going.
The guardian didn't have anytime to do anything.
Each move was countered by a laser hot enough to actually inflict damage to the guardian.
It was actually getting beat.
The guardian couldn't let that happen.
It still had one last dance.
In an instant, a large swarm of unprecedented heat fell upon the guardian sanctuary.
It caught Derek unaware.
A large swarm of heat waves that completely knocked Derek out.
He couldn't handle it.
The guardian had gained an advantage.
Using the powers it earned from the celestial appearance it guarded every day, the guardian had been able to knock out Derek.
The heat related abilities accompanied by the overall strength of the guardian couldn't be handled by any of the three on their own.
"What....what.....what happened?!", Derek spoke when he had woken up and felt a rather chill breeze roll past his glances.
The dark and sharpened guardian triumphed over him.
It circled him just as it did for Chris.
Derek despised being in such a state.
He knew that his body was unstable and any sudden attacks could end his life.
He had to play it safe and tactivise his next move.
He felt his surroundings and let out a sigh of relief.
His piston still laid beside him.
He watched the guardian closely to when it was at its most vulnerable point and struck.
No reward.
The guardian snapped the piston out of his hands in a matter of seconds as though he expected that.
Derek now was out of options.
He just watched as the guardian hovered over him with angry eyes.
Ofcourse, any one would be annoyed if someone came to steal what you had been guarding for years.
The beast was seemingly ready to unleash all that anger on the feeble Derek.
The movements of the guardian stopped after a while.
It turned its head and looked directly at Derek.
Derek gulped.
There was no way out.
Chris was still likely knocked out and being treated by Fidget.
No other person around to help.
The guardian brought down its sharpened edge directly onto the neck of Derek.
He struggled to keep it at bay.
Holding onto the sharp edges to prevent it making any contact with his neck.
His efforts were futile.
The guardian's pure strength gave it a grave advantage as it's hand kept falling unto its target.
