Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 11

Chapter 11: ExperimentAfterward, Chinatsu continued to overwhelm Sasuke Uchiha with knowledge far beyond what someone his age should be learning. It was risky—especially given their current situation after the Uchiha Clan Massacre—but even so, Chinatsu still wanted to try and change something.

If she had chosen to remain passive, she could have simply existed as an extra "older sister" who never appeared in the original story, letting fate proceed unchanged.

Sasuke would still fall into darkness. Naruto Uzumaki would remain lonely.

Sasuke would defect and become a rogue ninja, while Naruto would spend years chasing after him, determined to bring him back to Konohagakure.

Then would come battles against the Akatsuki, the resurrection of Madara Uchiha, and finally the descent of Kaguya Otsutsuki.

At least the ending was a happy one.

But Chinatsu refused to simply watch it all unfold.

Meanwhile, the village had not stopped monitoring the last survivors of the Uchiha. ANBU operatives were still assigned to observe them in secret—and the one most often responsible was Kakashi Hatake.

Ever since Chika had casually exposed his presence once before, Kakashi's surveillance had noticeably loosened. At the very least, she could no longer sense him nearby with the same consistency.

However… the crystal ball of Hiruzen Sarutobi was another matter entirely.

Originally, Sasuke had little interest in the things Chika was teaching him. But as the content grew increasingly "mysterious," his eyes began to shine with curiosity.

"How was it? Did you understand?"

"Reporting, Sister! I didn't understand everything… but I'm trying!"

Sasuke pressed two fingers to his temples, doing his best to process everything.

Chika, feeling a bit parched, poured herself some water and took a few sips. For a moment, she felt genuine respect for teachers who could lecture endlessly without stopping.

"Sasuke, I know you want to become stronger. But right now, building a solid foundation is more important than chasing powerful ninjutsu."

"Okay!"

Sasuke nodded seriously. Even if he didn't fully understand, he trusted her completely.

For the next week, their routine became almost mechanical. Ironically, the kind of repetitive life Chika once disliked had now become something she accepted without complaint.

Sasuke's progress with the Great Fireball Technique was noticeable. At first, he could barely produce a small flame, but now the size and duration had both improved significantly—already approaching the level expected of a true Uchiha child.

As for his training, Chika had essentially replicated the foundational exercises Kakashi would later use on Team 7.

Inside the Uchiha compound, in an open training ground—

A bell was tied to Chika's leg.

The same principle as the bell test.

If Sasuke could take it, he would pass this stage.

Of course, Chika estimated it would take at least a year or more.

But Sasuke's determination was undeniable.

He charged forward.

He leaped.

He landed—perfectly.

"Sasuke, charging straight in won't work. Use feints. Predict movement. I'll allow shuriken, kunai—even ninjutsu. Don't hold back."

As she spoke, Sasuke—still on the ground—suddenly reached out.

A sneak attack.

Chika stepped back instantly.

Missed.

"Ah! So close! Your reactions are too fast!"

Sasuke pouted, clearly frustrated.

Chika, however, was slightly shaken.

She hadn't expected that kind of trick.

For a brief moment, she even felt that Sasuke might grow into someone far more cunning than expected.

That thought… was dangerous.

And it led her to another realization.

Something she had been ignoring.

When she first arrived in this world, she had been struck down by Itachi Uchiha. The wound had been severe—fatal, even.

Yet somehow, she had recovered far faster than normal.

Even without relying heavily on medical ninjutsu.

That wasn't normal.

Not for an Uchiha.

That kind of vitality… was more reminiscent of the Uzumaki Clan.

Chika lowered her head, deep in thought.

Across from her, Sasuke blinked in confusion.

Then—slowly—he approached.

Step by step.

Reaching out…

Clink.

The bell was in his hand.

"Sister? Sister?!"

"Huh? The bell—wait, you actually got it?!"

Chika snapped back to reality, immediately realizing what had happened.

She sighed and lightly slapped her cheek.

Getting lost in thought at a moment like that… some habits really did carry over.

But now—

She needed to confirm something.

"Sasuke, give me a kunai."

"Huh? Okay…"

Though confused, Sasuke handed one over.

Chika stared at the blade.

A standard shinobi tool—simple, sharp, and deadly.

She hesitated briefly.

Then activated her three-tomoe Sharingan, scanning her surroundings.

No presence.

No watchers.

Good.

"Sasuke… I'm going to run a test."

"A test? Sister… what are you doing?"

A bad feeling crept into Sasuke's chest.

"Don't worry. I'll be fine… probably. But if something happens—go get help."

She inhaled deeply.

Then—

Swish.

The kunai pierced her own body.

Blood burst from the wound.

Pain shot through her nerves, sharp and immediate.

Her lips trembled.

But…

It wasn't unbearable.

Sasuke froze in shock, his body locked in place.

But just as he was about to shout—

He noticed something impossible.

The bleeding… had stopped.

Not slowed.

Stopped completely.
