Third person's POV
Darryl, Sir Salva, and some guards went to the basement to fix the power. But when they arrived, they got shocked when they saw the lifeless bodies of the two guards that were sent earlier by the Chief. Now they know where the gunshots came from. Fear and panic is the first thing they felt.
"Wait! The scream we heard earlier, it was a girl!" Darryl said.
"The cooks!"
After the power came back, the five of them quickly ran to the cafeteria, and there they saw the bodies of three cooks, covered in their own blood.
Everyone is confused and almost crying. They don't know what to do, so they turned on the fire alarm so everyone can gather in one place, thinking it is safer.
While Darryl and Sir Salva are waiting for the students in the cafeteria, the remaining three guards tried to ask for help. But they got shocked when they realized that the post and radio they use to communicate outside the island is already destroyed. Even the radios used for the boats are also broken.
No phone. No communication. No one to ask help from.
All of this was planned… and everything is going according to the killer's plan.
Zhaine's POV
We all went together to the cafeteria, but we got shocked when we saw the three dead bodies of the cooks, covered in blood. They are covered with white cloth, but we can still see their shape.
"Zhaine!"
I cried when I saw Darryl again. All of our classmates who stayed in the island are here, together with two guards. All of us are very scared. We keep asking Chief and Sir Salva many questions, but they also don't have answers.
"Chief, what is happening?! We don't want to die!" Andrew shouted while crying and shaking.
"We… we also don't know. The killer is disguised. We just found the two guards in the basement… already dead…" Chief said while stuttering, holding his head because of stress.
"What do you mean you don't know?! My sister almost got killed earlier! This is supposed to be an elite school! You said our safety is your priority!" Jackson shouted angrily, so Tiffany hugged him to calm him down.
Everyone looked at each other, full of fear.
"What happened earlier?" Darryl asked while holding my hand.
"When we were in the bathroom, someone suddenly grabbed her and almost killed her by choking! Is this the school you are proud of?!" Jackson said again, then wiped his face. "We have to leave right now! Please call the police! Do something!"
"We are trying our best, but someone destroyed the radio transmitter. There is also no signal in the whole island. I promise we will do everything so we can get out of here as soon as possible," Chief said, but it is not enough to calm our fear. While we are here in this island, we cannot feel safe.
"Did you see who did it?" Darryl looked at my neck and put an ice bag on it.
"I—I…" I started crying and just shake my head. I can't stop my tears anymore.
"Shh… I will not let anyone hurt you, okay?" he hugged me and kissed my forehead.
"See! I told you! This is really happening like in horror movies!" Andrey proudly said, but Kevin hit him.
"Andrey, movies are different from real life!" Kevin said, also scared.
"But how will you explain this?! This is not a dream!" Andrey shouted, his eyes red from lack of sleep.
"What is really happening?!" Andrew shouted while crying.
"You are smart right?! Then analyze it!" Darryl said.
"That's enough! No one will get anywhere if you keep fighting!" Chief said loudly. "All of you stay here! No one will go out or let anyone in the cafeteria unless you know them! Maybe a crazy person entered the island. There are many possibilities. We will go outside with the guards and hunt the person who did this. Do not sleep all at the same time so someone is always watching."

I look at my hands, they are still shaking from fear. I don't understand why someone is doing this to us. Is this the price for not helping Allysa before?
I look at my classmates. For four years we are together in this island, but now I see them so scared like this.
"Just wait," Darryl whispered and stood in front of everyone.
"No one of us knows what is happening, but we have to stay together. Do not lose hope, do not be afraid. Whoever is doing this, we will not let them hurt anyone. I know many of us don't get along, but I hope we still protect each other. We are together for four years here, we shared many things, so we should help each other now."
Everyone felt a little calmer because of Darryl.
My brother Jackson stood up. "Darryl is right. Let's block all doors and windows. Get anything you can use, even kitchen knives."
Everyone started moving, pushing tables and chairs to block the door.
"Hey, are you okay?"
I got surprised when Nathan came beside me. He smiled at me.
"I'm okay, thanks for asking," I said and looked away.
He laughed a little. "Zhainetot, do you really not remember me?"
I frowned. Only one person calls me that.
I looked at his face closely… it looks familiar.
"What is happening here?" Darryl and Kuya came closer.
Ethan smiled at Kuya. "Jackson Demonyo… you don't remember me either, huh?"
My eyes widened. I finally remember him. He is the one who gave Kuya that nickname before.
"Tan-Tan!" I suddenly smiled and shook his shoulders happily. I was so happy after many years, we finally met again… but it's annoying that I only remembered him now.
"Crazy Tan-tan! So it's really you! It's been so long since you showed up!" Kuya said and they fist bumped like before.
I looked at Darryl who looks confused, so I went closer to him.
"Nathan is our childhood friend, but that guy suddenly disappeared," I told him. He just smiled and I felt relieved because he is not angry anymore at Nathan.

I woke up and me and Darryl are leaning on each other. It's already morning. I look around and saw Kuya still sleeping, and only Andrey and Kevin are awake.
Then suddenly, someone knocked and everyone woke up. It was Chief.
"I have good news. We found a working speed boat. Don't worry because two guards already went to the city to ask for help," Chief said while smiling and pointing at the window. We saw a small dock not far away, and the two guards are fixing the speed boat.
We all sighed in relief. Everyone is happy. Finally, we can leave this island!
In one moment, everyone started joking and laughing again. The fear is gone. We are safe now.
"Bye! Bye!" Andrey and Kevin are shouting like kids. The guards waved back at them.
Kuya hugged me. "Zhaine, we can go home now!"
I tried to stop my tears. "We will watch cartoons when we get home!"
"Marathon if you want!" Kuya said, even though he really hates cartoons. We always fight about it.
But then—
"Wait, Sir Simon! We still haven't checked him!" Sir Salva suddenly said.
We all got shocked.
"Simon… the principal's adopted son who controls all CCTV. We haven't seen him since yesterday."
"I passed by his room yesterday but it looks empty," Blake said.
"Zhaine, Andrey, do you know how to control the cameras in the monitoring room?" Sir Salva asked.
Me and Andrey looked at each other.
"We… we can try?" I said.
"Then I will go with you," Darryl said and held my hand.
But Chief shook his head.
"No, Villanueva. You are the president. You need to stay here with them," Chief said.
Darryl got angry.
"Forget my leadership rank! I will go with my girlfriend!" he said.
But Chief did not listen.
"Darryl, don't worry, I'll be fine," I told him and hugged him tight.
"I will go with my Sister," Kuya said. He looked at Tiffany. "Tiff, come with us too," he invited her.
"Tiffany, let's just stay here. I'm scared!" Dexie said while holding her arm tightly, still very afraid.
"Dexie, just come with us. We go there," I said, but she did not agree. She still want to stay in the cafeteria because there are more people there. In the monitoring rooms, only few of us are there.
Tiffany only smiled. "I'll just stay here. You guys are just in the other building anyway. I'll stay with Dexie first." She insisted, so we had no choice but to agree.
"Be careful okay? Don't go near Blake," Kuya said jokingly and kissed Tiffany on her forehead.
"Don't let anyone inside and lock all the doors," Chief said with authority.

We went to the monitoring room with Chief and Sir Salva. Even outside, we already smell something very bad, smells like rotting flesh. So we covered our noses.
Sir Salva knocked. "Sir Simon, this is Sir Salva… we need help—"
"T-there's b-blood…" Kuya said softly. We all looked down and saw blood flowing on the floor, coming from inside Sir Simon's office.
"Sir Simon!" Chief shouted and quickly opened the door.
When we entered, we were shocked at what we saw — Sir Simon was tied to a chair. His stomach was cut open and his organs were already eaten by big rats. His eyes were gone too, only empty holes left.
I covered my mouth so I will not throw up. Kuya hugged me so I won't see it.
Andrey took off his jacket and slowly tried to cover Sir Andrey's body, but suddenly many cockroaches flew out from it. Andrey jumped back and ran away like us.
Sir Salva fell on the floor and started crying and screaming.
"W-who did this?!" Chief shouted while covering his mouth.
We took the body outside and covered it with cloth. The smell was still very strong. The room was full of CCTV monitors.
"Jack… your hand," Andrey said.
I looked and saw Kuya's left hand has a big wound, and his right hand is red like it got burned. I never noticed it before. Kuya just put his hand in his pocket and smiled at Andrey.
I feel sorry for my brother. I know he got hurt because of the rope last night.
"I'm sorry… it's my fault," I said.
"Idiot Zhaine," Kuya said. "Don't say sorry. You think I will let you get hurt?"
He smiled and messed my hair.
We checked the CCTV footage.
11:14 PM — everything looks quiet, but in the cafeteria, something terrible happened.
A man wearing a demon mask suddenly appeared. He killed two kitchen staff very fast. Then he chased the last one and strangled her with a guitar string. After that, he went somewhere not seen by camera.
We were all shocked.
"During that time we heard the screams," Andrey said.
Then suddenly… all lights went out.
The whole school became pitch black.
"Now what? No electricity means no CCTV," Chief said.
"Wait!" I said and rewound the footage.
Even without power, we saw something moving near the basement camera.
"Zhaine, stop it. CCTV is dead because there is no electricity." Robbie said.
But I zoomed more.
We saw a person dragging a body — it was one of the guards.
"He is filming everything…" Robbie said seriously.
We all felt fear.
Then suddenly, Sir Salva looked at another CCTV screen.
The guards were leaving the island.
We all felt relieved…
But then—
BOOM!
The speedboat exploded.
"Tiffany!" Kuya shouted and ran outside.

My legs went weak and I fell on the ground when we arrived at the cafeteria that is now destroyed. Everywhere we looked, there is only broken walls stacked on each other, fire on the left and right, and very thick smoke. How did this happen? Only a speed boat exploded, so why is the cafeteria also collapsed?
My heart is beating so fast and my tears will not stop falling. I froze in my seat. I cannot move, I cannot believe what is happening.
"Tiffany! Tiffany answer me!" Kuya is trying to go near the rubble but Chief and Andrey are stopping him, both of them also crying.
"Let me go! My girlfriend is there! Tiffany answer me!"
The faces of my friends keeps flashing in my mind. Their smiles that I will never see again. Our happy memories. I never thought this will happen.
"Darryl!!!" I cried so hard.

We search for hours if there are still survivors trapped in the ruins, but there is nothing. Not even a small sound. Still, we keep digging with all our strength.
"Chief, because of the strong explosion, there is still a chance someone heard us and will come help, right?!" Andrey asked while crying. Chief did not answer, he just shouted in anger.
"Kuya they heard it right? Right?!" I went to Kuya but he did not answer me. Instead, he hugged me tightly and cried. I have never seen him cry like this before.
Andrey is silent now, just crying while staring at everything that used to be our four years together. We are not always perfect as a group, but in those four years we learned how to understand and accept each other.
"The killer is still on the loose," Chief said again. Fear came back to us.
"Let's get any supplies we can find, food or weapon. We will stay in the monitoring room for now. That place is safer," he added.
"Don't you have guns here?!" Kuya asked in panic, but Chief only raised one gun.
"Seriously?! This big island and only one gun? Where are the others?!"
"Budget cuts," Chief said. We are frustrated but we cannot do anything.
Third person POV
Sir Salva is silently praying while crying. It feels like his sanity is already gone because of everything happening. He did not notice that the door behind him slowly opened, and a masked figure wearing a demon mask entered.
They are now facing each other, but Sir Salva is still praying and not moving.
"Do you think I will not kill you because of your prayer?" the killer said coldly, tightening his grip on the axe.
But the teacher did not respond.
"No revenge for people like you, sir," the killer said.
Then suddenly, the killer attacked and cut sir salva's head using an axe.
