"Ugh, so this one was another failure? What a pity! I was really hopeful that I would get to see results this time."
Karina let out a sigh as she looked at another of her 'failed' specimens. The specimen's body was melting due to the strong drug it had been injected with, but at least it was alive.
But what good was it to bring someone back to life when they had neither their body nor their consciousness? It might as well be an ugly puppet at this point.
"Alright, you are free to roam this facility. As for the drug...it seems like I will have to adjust the dose again."
Karina sighed and got back to work. She was determined to make the experiment a success at all costs.
But even she knew that she was missing something important for her research.
The reason she was failing was not because of the drug's effects, but because it was missing a key component. And that component could only be found in her dear daughter.
