Chapter 47 - Event: Interference & Separation

Chapter 73 – Event: Interference & Separation

Lady 1 radioed: "Over."

Silence.

Lady 1 tried again: "Over."

Crackling static.

Leader Black 1's voice broke through interference: "Lea… der… 1… another division… separa… interference… lady… over…"

Lady 1 commanded: "Do NOT separate. Confirm order."

Leader Black 1's voice faded: "…dy… ov…"

Signal lost.

Leader Black 3 asked: "Lady 1, what do we do? Abort?"

Lady 1 was resolute: "No. Continue. The mission has just begun."

They moved forward. Red eyes blinked in the darkness.

Black Leader 1's path split again, and they unknowingly walked into a separate artery of the labyrinth.

Black Leader 2: "We lost contact."

Black Leader 3: "We continue. Next check‑in: two minutes."

Armed Contact & Casualties — Team Annihilation

Black Leader 2 radioed: "Over. No enemies detected."

Black Leader 3 radioed: "Over. No movement detected. Continue the search."

One minute later—

Black Leader 2 radioed, panicked: "What the hell is that?! A dozen red eyes approaching fast!"

Soldier 1 shouted: "Enemy contact! Open fire!"

The tunnel flashed with every burst of gunfire. A dozen beasts charged forward. Three fell instantly, riddled with bullets. The remaining creatures surged ahead—two more dropped, but the distance closed rapidly.

Lady 1 heard from afar, radioing: "Those are gunshots! Black 1, respond! Anyone, report! What's happening?!"

A scream—raw, agonizing—echoed through the tunnel. Soldier 3 was ambushed.

A massive beast lunged from the darkness, clamping its jaws around Soldier 3's neck and shaking him violently. His rifle fired upward in wild, uncontrolled bursts. Blood poured down his chest as his screams dissolved into gurgles.

The remaining beasts crashed into the four‑man unit. Two soldiers were tackled instantly—teeth tearing into flesh, claws ripping through gear, muscle, and bone. Their agonized shrieks mixed with the wet sound of viscera hitting the ground.

Black Leader 2 fired desperately at the beasts pinning Soldier 2: "Hold on! HOLD ON!"

Too late. Soldier 2's chest collapsed under the force of repeated strikes. Black Leader 2 continued firing, killing two beasts, but the pack overwhelmed him. He fell under a pile of claws and fangs.

Within seconds, the entire Black 2 subgroup—eight soldiers—was torn apart. Their bodies became a feast for the slavering monsters.

The comm channel fell silent, broken only by static and distant howls.

Lady 1 radioed: "Black 3… Black 2… if you read, report status. Over."

No answer.

Lady 1 turned off her night vision; her blue eyes focused into the darkness.

Black Leader 1 radioed: "Lady 1… that wasn't suppressive fire. That was annihilation. Black 2 is down. We're alone in this maze."

Static hissed through the channel. Then—

Black Leader 3 radioed: "To anyone who's still there—Black 2 has fallen. All eight men… gone. We're alone in the labyrinth."

Lady 1 acknowledged: "I know. We cannot abort the mission. Black 3, report your position."

Black Leader 3: "That stench we detected earlier… it's stronger now. Smells like sulfur mixed with rot. Getting worse by the second."

Lady 1 instructed: "Move in silence, Black 3. The injection should be activating. I'm heading toward your position. If you see red eyes—avoid direct combat. The objective is elimination, not engagement."

Black Leader 3: "Roger."

Pressure and Internal Conflict

Lady 1 urged: "Move. Leader Black 1, that smell is getting stronger every second. We need to move faster and find them. If we stay lost in this labyrinth, we all die."

Leader Black 1 agreed: "I know. Keep moving. Any contact with the team—"

Lady 1's internal thoughts raged: The panic burns. I can still hear the screams of my men. Is this feeling from the suppressor… or is it fear? No. I can't fail. Not again. Are you going to disappoint the Lord one more time? Bring shame to your family again? No. If I die here, grandfather will never forgive me. I have warrior blood… but this—

Internal scream: Grrrrrrrrr! Nothing scares me. Only dishonor.

Chapter 74 – Action: Critical Situation — Leader Black 3

Leader Black 3 and his 16‑man team—Black 3 and Black 4 together—were locked in a ferocious fight for survival. The terror was thick, mixing with the nauseating stench of the tunnels.

They managed to fortify a narrow section of the sewer, but the pressure of the incoming horde was relentless. Forced to retreat, they reached a ninety‑degree corner where the tunnel narrowed—allowing only one creature at a time to get through. A temporary advantage… but a fragile one.

Their ammo was nearly gone. One soldier, face twisted with panic, desperately tried to reestablish comms with Lady 1.

Man 3 shouted: "Team 3 to Lady 1, respond! Team 3 to Lady 1! Respond!"

Man 1 reported: "Leader… I'm out of ammo."

Man 2 added: "I've only got a few rounds left. What do we do, Leader Black 3?"

Leader Black 3's mind was clouded by tension. The pressure was suffocating—thinking clearly became almost impossible.

Man 3 tried again: "Team 3 to Lady 1—respond!"

Suddenly, a voice cut through the static.

Lady 1: "This is Lady 1. What is your status?"

Man 3: "Critical! We're almost out of ammo. We can hold the creatures for five minutes—ten at most. Awaiting instructions, over!"

Lady 1, hearing how bad their situation was, increased her pace.

Lady 1: "Hold your ground. We're on our way."

Event: Contact & Massacre — Black 1 / Black 2 (The Divided Team)

Meanwhile, the subdivided right‑side team—Black 1 and Black 2—now split into two groups of 8 men each, moved deeper into the labyrinth.

Leader Black 2: "Over. No enemies."

Leader Black 1: "Over. No movement detected. Continue the search."

One minute later—

Leader Black 2: "What the hell is that?! A dozen red eyes approaching fast!"

Man 1: "Enemy! Open fire!"

The tunnel flashed with every shot. A dozen beasts charged them. Three fell immediately. Then two more. But the pack kept advancing.

Lady 1 heard from a distance, radioing: "Those are gunshots! Leader Black 1, respond! Someone respond—what's happening?!"

A scream tore through the comms. A beast lunged from the darkness, biting into Soldier 3's throat and shaking him violently. His automatic rifle fired uncontrollably as blood sprayed across the tunnel.

The remaining beasts swarmed. Two soldiers were torn apart, ripped open, their guts spilling onto the floor.

Leader Black 2 kept firing, killing two more beasts—but it was useless. The pack overwhelmed them. One beast pinned Man 2 down, ripping through his vest and into his ribs. Another bit into Man 1's thigh, dragging him into the darkness. Their screams dissolved into wet, choking gurgles.

More beasts arrived—bigger, faster.

Leader Black 1's half‑team came into contact next. Five soldiers fired desperately, taking down four creatures—but the tunnel erupted with a larger wave. Three soldiers were dragged away instantly. One tried to retreat but slipped on blood—he was torn apart before he hit the floor.

Leader Black 1 gunned down one last beast before another leaped onto him, crushing him against the wall. His scream cut off abruptly.

Within seconds… ALL MEN in Black 1 and Black 2 were dead. Sixteen elite soldiers erased.

The comm channel was nothing but static… and distant chewing.

Aftermath of the Massacre

Lady 1 radioed: "Leader Black 3… Leader Black 2… if you're there, respond. Report status. Over."

Only silence.

Finally, another voice broke through the static.

Leader Black 3: "To anyone still alive—Black 2 is gone. They've been wiped out. We're alone in the labyrinth."

Lady 1: "I know. We cannot abort the mission. Black 3, what's your situation?"

Leader Black 3: "The foul smell we detected earlier… it's turning into sulfur. It's getting stronger."

Lady 1: "Move in silence, Black 3. The injection should be working by now. I'm heading toward your position. If you see red eyes, avoid direct combat. The objective remains elimination."

Leader Black 3: "Roger."
