Taehyun- what the fuck huening kai?
A little bit after we got jobs at the company, our mission has begun. How, how did we get the jobs? Well it's simple, cupids have the power to mind control and make plans in advance that'll happen and No one will be affected nor know. So that simply what we did. We got the job, introduced ourselves. The bam. We're at the after party. I think this was meant for Danielle and I but that did seem like it was going to happen, which wasn't terrible because we could focus on our target.
"So guys I have an amazing idea!" She said loudly. Oh my gosh, first Danielle almost blows our cover, not knowing what fucking alcohol is, i thought everyone learned about stupid human basics. But no, guess Amoria academy is lacking. "Whats the bright idea?" Beomgyu said with lots of enthusiasm. Dani didn't catch it, "So we spin a bottle and whoever it lands on we ask them to either tell a secret or something about themselves." Yeonjun smiled and nudged Beomgyu like it was a great idea.
"Who in there right mind would choose the a secret about themselves instead of something a simple as your favorite color?" "Exactly." I agreed
"Anyways, lets do it." He picked up a bottle and spun it on the table. I stared hard at it hoping it would be Beomgyu. It be an easier mission being close with him. Though he was a tough cookie.
"Taehyun it's you!" "Oh." I looked up from the bottle and met Beomgyu eyes. I felt a tiny spark in my chest. No i can't fall for a target. I shook my head and choose to tell something about my personality.
"Ah, I'll just choose... the personality one." I said trying to ignore the fact I felt my heart racing.
"K hurry it up." That voice didn't come from the table did it? I look to see our other target from office 3A earlier.
"Ugh." I heard Beomgyu sigh across from me. "Who are you?" Danielle asked. She didn't even know our other target? Goodness Danielle.
"huening kai, call me kai." "I'm Beomgyu friend. Can I join you guys?"
"No." It wasn't Beomgyu but yeonjun. The one that lives in his own world.
"Excuse me?" Kai said with an eyebrow raised. "I didn't come for you i came to hang with Beomg-" "you're not invited, that's the thing." They both stood suddenly, making people look our way. You could see kai's nostrils flare and his eyes darken with anger.
He turned to Beomgyu and asked "it's up to you. Am I allowed to stay?" He sighed loudly. "It's not hurting anyone, I guess...sure. Fine just shut the fuck up and down. Both of you." He guided yeonjun down with his shoulder leaving kai to sit himself.
It was clear nobody liked Kai, and to be honest I see why. Which wasn't good. He was the one who needed to be matched with Beomgyu. After all, they were soulmates.
"So are you gonna finish?" I was to lost in thought to hear him. Kai nudged me in my shoulder. "Dude." "Sorry, what were you saying?" He scoffed, "before I came, what's something about your personality." Gosh we were still playing this game? "Oh right, I'll just say my favorite colors...yellow." Danielle smiled and spun the bottle, trying bring the fun into the air again. Yeonjun wasn't having it. It was clear he was uncomfortable, and maybe hurt. It spun, and spun, and spun till it landed on Kai. Great, finally useful information. We all waited for him to talk. "What, yall think I know how to play the flipping game? I just got here." "Oh right sorry." Danielle apologized.
"Don't apologize, there's no reason." Beomgyu. Mumbled. Hearing him speak after a while, and at that in a low voice sent chills down my spine.
Kai sighed, "God for fucks sake could you guys tell me the games ru-" "just leave, get the hell away from us." We all turned to Beomgyu. "Huh? What did you say you brat" Beomgyu stood with his head down tense. "Your making everyone uncomfortable. So go." Kai laughed out loud, "Am i making everyone uncomfortable or just you, Beomgyu?"
"Everyone." Yeonjun added. Looking directly in his eyes looking like he was seconds away from snapping.
Kai scoffed and walked away, "what about bunch of dicks." He mumbled on his way out.
"Im leaving." Beomgyu excused himself.
"Wait, Beomgyu!" Yeonjun called out." "See you guys at work?!" Yeonjun said running after Beomgyu with an concerned expression.
The next day was better, id say we made some improvement. Now after that day even though there were some fights... yeonjun began talking to bother me and Dani meaning we were getting closer to them. Not best friends yet but we talked now.
I had to do some food flyer on tebbokki which was kinda of fun but what wasn't was helping Dani, she didn't even know she could use her powers to just make it if it was that hard. Which I wasn't. I tried to conversate with Beomgyu but he was out of it. Plus I don't think he particularly likes Danielle and I. I just hope he doesn't see us as a burden.
