Quiet worship,eyes closed, silence filled the hall,choristers in white attires it seems to be a worship session.
Everyone devoted to worship like sole worshipers was quite a sight to behold. Soon their eyes open to a swift changes of atmosphere...praise has began. Dances and excitement... Sunday is always like this. The same routine every time
It didn't take long for a older man to step unto the pulpit, adjusting his glasses he made reference to some text in the bible.
"Let's open our Bible to....." The sermon began
Aduni in a corner soon lose her concentration, her phone buzzed with series of message despite being on vibration. She soon changed the settings to total silent.
The need to check those messages hit her.. she frowned... it's always going to be hectic Monday!
Trying to reply... "Please put your phone away!"...the voice interrupted
Aduni didn't bother to respond or lift her head up... silently tapping through her phone to
Perhaps feeling bitter for being ignored,the usher swiftly snatched her phone
Aduni swifty snatched it back giving her a death glare
"Stay away from me!" She lashed
"Put your device away, not for me but for God sake!"....the usher didn't back down, people began to look, murmuring
What a hectic week it has been.... Aduni thought.
No peace during the week,no peace either on Sabbath! Not caring about the piercing eyes,she gently picked her bag and walked out.
No one expected it.... "Kids these days are rebellious!" One whispered
Getting home,a wave of stress and anxiety wash over her...sweat dripping down,her makeup slightly flushed... Collapsing to the couch...
" God....! Why do they have to test me over and over again? My patience is running thin.. please help me to stand strong in you! Lead me not unto temptation and bless my week...take control of Monday and the entire week!

A simple prayer is what the week needs rather than lecture from a usher!.
Inhaling deeply... "Now can you explain what you mean by that text?"...her voice was no longer cool.....it was harsh and ready to smite.
Noise in the background..."Get out of there now!...Are you trying to blow my ears away!"...
"That should be a man you're talking to...you can't remain single forever!"...a voice yelled in the background...
"And you why do you work all the time... Who's going to take care of your kids ehn?"...
Aduni pinched the bridge of her nose...
"Sort your problems and give me a call later!"....
