Chapter 4 - Birthday Party!

[Purchase Successful]

The moment the command was issued, 300 Fate Points vanished without a trace.

There was no sound, no dramatic surge—just a quiet subtraction, as if something invisible had been taken from him.

In return, a dense stream of information condensed into existence.

A faint golden scripture materialized within the system space.

Heaven Devouring Origin Scripture.

Ever since the system rewards had appeared, a restless anticipation had taken root within him, growing stronger with each passing second.

He moved toward the wardrobe with unhurried steps, his gaze sweeping across rows of carefully arranged outfits before settling on a black martial uniform. Just as he reached out to take it…

'Ding'

The Aether Orb resting on the table flickered to life.

Its surface rippled like liquid glass, projecting a translucent interface into the air. Tony glanced at it casually at first, but his attention sharpened the moment he read the contents.

A family notice.

A mandatory gathering scheduled tomorrow night.

The occasion- Leo Clark's birthday.

For a brief moment, his hand paused mid-motion. Among the many names within the Clark family, Leo was the only one that held any real meaning to him. Not because of status or talent, but because he is the younger brother of Tony.

A birthday celebration, under normal circumstances, would have been something he attended without thought. But nowadays, all the family members were trying to strip him of his status as next heir. His younger brother Leo is one of the top contestants.

Still, formalities existed for a reason.

"Mary…" His voice carried across the room with quiet authority.

The response came quickly. The door opened, and a well-figured woman stepped inside with hurried steps. Mary, one of the senior attendants, lowered her head the moment she entered. Despite her composed appearance, the tension in her body was obvious. Her shoulders were stiff, and her hands trembled ever so slightly at her sides.

She was a plum beauty with a round face. To her surprise, Tony never looked at her with any evil intention. But all other servants think that she really suffers all sorts of humiliation at the hands of Tony.

"Young Master," she said carefully, her voice restrained.

Tony was busily adjusting his martial uniform which he wore very rarely. "Prepare the meditation chamber. The five-star room."

The words were simple, but their meaning caused Mary's expression to change instantly. She looked up in surprise before quickly lowering her gaze again.

"Young Master… the five-star chamber requires approval from the Third Elder," she said cautiously. "He may not allow it, considering…"

She hesitated, but the implication was clear enough.

Considering Tony's talent… his current standing… such resources would be wasted on him.

Tony let out a faint scoff, as if the matter held no real weight in his mind. He finished adjusting his sleeves before speaking again, his tone calm yet edged with something colder.

"If he refuses… tell him his daughter, Rani… has grown quite well." Tony said like a casual remark.

The room fell silent.

Mary's eyes widened despite herself, and the color drained slightly from her face. The meaning behind those words was unmistakable. It was not a request, nor was it a negotiation. It was a warning—subtle in phrasing, yet sharp enough to cut through any hesitation.

Tony lifted his head and looked at her directly.

For a brief moment, their eyes met.

Mary felt a chill run down her spine. There was no visible anger in his expression, no raised voice or threatening gesture. Yet something about his gaze made it impossible to breathe normally. It was as if standing there any longer would only make things worse.

Without another word, she turned and hurried out of the room.

Tony watched her retreating figure with a slight frown.

"Why is her body bouncing?" he muttered under his breath. From his perspective, he had simply stated a condition.

Shaking his head lightly, he dismissed the thought and picked up the Aether Orb, tossing it casually into his bamboo carry bag. The bamboo bags are space treasures which are only confined to wealthy martial families. They were very small… like a pocket pouch and can store a large transport lorry at once. As the family heir he had the privilege to carry the best of the best.

Tony got busy on which treasures to use first.

Several minutes passed before Mary returned.

This time, her movements were more controlled. In her hand was a sleek key card that emitted a faint glow, symbolizing authorization to access the five-star meditation chamber.

"Young Master, the chamber has been prepared."she said, extending it forward.

Tony accepted it without comment and turned toward the door.

"Y-Young Master…" she called out suddenly.

He paused, though he did not turn around immediately.

"There is something you should know," she said, lowering her voice instinctively as if afraid of being overheard. "Young Master, your brother Leo's friend… Elvin. He is planning something during the birthday gathering tomorrow. It seems… he intends to frame you."

Tony's expression did not change.

Only after a brief pause did he ask, "How do you know?"

"I… I heard the whispers among servants… I thought you should be aware." Mary replied.

A faint smile appeared on Tony's lips.

"Elvin…" he repeated softly, as if tasting the name.

So the game had already begun.

He didn't ask for details or showed any concern. To him, this was nothing more than another predictable move. Who can touch him inside the Clark Family?!

"Let him try," Tony said calmly.

Without another word, he stepped out.

The birthday gathering, the schemes, the petty conflicts of the family—all of it faded into the background.

Because right now, something far more important awaited him.

The five-star meditation chamber was located deep within the inner section of the Clark estate, reserved only for core members and rare occasions. Because operating it for one day consumes valuable resources. The high class family can live luxuriously with its cost.

While Tony entered inside, the 3rd elder was watching him with a narrow look. But he can't do anything. The smug smile of Tony only made him bite teeth. "Spoiled bastard…" The elder muttered in a weak tone.

As Tony entered, a subtle pressure greeted him, followed by a refreshing sensation that spread through his body.

The air itself felt different.

Denser.

Alive.

Life energy flowed freely within the chamber, far richer than anything found outside. It seeped into his pores, his breath, his very being, as if welcoming him into a higher realm of existence.

The room was designed with precision. Formation yantras were embedded into the walls, faintly glowing as they circulated and purified the surrounding energy. At the center lay a polished stone platform, perfectly positioned to maximize absorption.

Tony stepped onto it and sat down cross-legged.

There was no hesitation on his face... He was eager to raise!

"Activate."
