Five years had passed since the disappearance of the Island of Immortality… But the ending wasn't what everyone expected.
At first, people thought it was all over. The Four Kingdoms ceased their war, and the sea was calm again, as if the disaster had never happened. But as time passed… something strange began to change.
The sea was no longer silent.
Every night, fishermen in the coastal villages noticed something unusual. The waves didn't move normally; they seemed to breathe… as if they were living beings watching them. And on some nights, a faint light appeared on the horizon, the same light spoken of in ancient legends.
At first, people thought it was an illusion… But the number of witnesses began to grow.
One fisherman swore he saw a huge shadow moving underwater, larger than any whale and faster than any ship. Another said he heard voices coming from the depths… whispers in an incomprehensible language.
In the Forest Kingdom, Queen Ilara stood at her window, gazing at the distant sea with one eye. Since her return, she had trusted nothing, neither allies nor enemies. Deep down, she knew that what had happened on the island wasn't over…it had only just begun.
She placed her hand on her chest and whispered, "The shadow…isn't dead."
At that moment, lightning struck the sky…and the light reflected off the sea's surface, revealing for a fleeting moment…a dark shape moving in the depths.
Something…waiting.
