The room fell dead silent, a pin drop cloud be heard in this situation,I can feel everyone's gaze on me and I know fully well that it was not of any hostility,I know better than anyone that this family can die for me and I know damn well that they are not intending to give me back to the Johnson's even if they are faced with any form of fight
"Will you really go with that rude woman and her husband" my fifth older brother and the youngest among my brothers Nathan voiced out with disgust
"Of course not, Cassidy is our sister and she is not going anywhere" Ken the second oldest said without taking his eyes off me
"We will fight anyone that disrupts the peace of our family regardless of who" Lucious my third brute looking brother said from where he was standing,he is my only brother that is built like a hulk and I'm not even kidding,he is bulky and is often misunderstood whenever we go out to eat, people assume that he is a killer and i don't think they are wrong though but he is the kindest of all my brothers. I looked around the room to see Gregory and Sebastian my fourth brother exchange a look . I have always feared Sebastian, everyone in the house fears Sebastian,he has always been introverted but he is very deadly,he strategizes and have already killed more people than anyone in this room, he has his own cartel and they are more deadly and advanced than the family cartel.
"Your sister is not going anywhere even if what that man and his shrewd wife said, Cassidy is your one and only sister"My mum Claire Jordon said as she approached me smiling. " I know you don't want to leave us Baby,you are our family and we are your family as well,I promise to respect your choices but I can't respect this one"she said as she squeezed my hands, I could have argued with her if I was still me in my past life but I didn't utter any words,I just went with the flow and when I looked around the room I noticed that everyone was expecting me to say my thoughts aloud
"I'm not going anywhere, my name is Cassidy Jordan and will always remain Cassidy Jordan" I declared as tears filled my eyes,I have not always been the crying type but I really miss my family and seeing them again felt unreal and overwhelming,I made a silent resolution to do everything I can in this life to protect my Family. I was still lost in my thoughts when I servant came to tell us that we had a visitor,I thought that the Johnson family were still around but I was met with a familiar face that made my heart miss a beat. Ethan Taylor was standing in his Italian tailored suit and was already greeting everyone,He is Sebastian's best friend and also my unrequited crush,I have always loved him since my sixteenth year and I have not dared made any moves because I was warned of how dangerous and ruthless he is and in my past life he didn't come to our house this day so I think that refusing to go with the Johnson family today have already changed a plot

"Earth to the young misus,what were you thinking that you didn't even hear when I approached you" Ethan said as he pulled my hand, I had not heard him approach and it doesn't make sense because I have always been sharp to know when someone approaches me.
"I'm so sorry,I was thinking about something that happened earlier today and didn't hear when you approached" I said looking at him dead in the eyes
"Yeah, I think that something is really wrong with you, you always avoid looking at me in the eyes but you have not even broken eye contact with me since we started talking,it's almost as if you became another person, whatever got you so worked up has to be a major issue,if you don't want to discuss with your brothers you can always come to me" He winked as he made his way upstairs to my brother's house office leaving me to ponder on his words.
"Cassie(short term for Cassidy),you know that you can always trust your Dad and I so stop thinking about unnecessary things and just go on with your life,just continue being our little princess and leave big thinking to the adults" Mum made her way to me and gave me a reassuring hug while whispering these words in my ears .

"Cassie is currently taking a nap in her room and I called everyone here to discuss our next cooperation and the plans for the couple that came earlier today, should I just end them so that we can continue with our lives" Nathan said looking at everyone in the study
"No don't kill them, they are just normies and killing them is a waste of resources and we don't have excess resources to waste" Ken replied .
"Killing them is really farfetched,we can target their company firewalls and render them useless,attacking their company is like fighting them with minimum efforts " Gregory suggested
"You are a known hacker Nathan and I hope that this simple task will be executed perfectly,that woman insulted mum's way of upbringing and even if she claims to be Cassie's birth mum she should be thought a lesson "Sebastian spoke up and everyone unanimously agreed to what he said .
"I should be on my way now,tell your sister that I'm already gone when she wakes up" Ethan said making his way to the door.
"You should really be a man and ask her out if you already know how she feels than always acting oblivious and clueless in her presence,it's really infuriating and it makes me angry whenever you act like that" Lucious said with an eye roll.
"Sebastian will kill me if I behave improper in Cassie's presence,so I'm saving myself "Ethan said looking at everyone in the room
"Yeah right you are saving yourself by being a coward,a real man does not go down without putting up a fight" Ken said in a neutral tone.
"I really hope that she will get over her childish crush to see that you are not a real man but a coward that is also scared of her brother" Lucious said looking at Ethan which earned a chuckle from Sebastian.
