The Great Hall fell into a deafening silence as the Headmaster, Lord Alaric, stepped down from his golden throne. His legendary sword, 'The Sun's Crown', pulsed with a blinding radiance that threatened to burn the retinas of anyone who dared to look directly at it.
"Caelum Thorne," Alaric's voice was like grinding stone. "You speak of deleting the world's logic, yet you stand on its ground, breathe its air, and bleed its blood. You are nothing but a bug in a magnificent machine. And bugs... are crushed."
Alaric moved with the speed of a solar flare. In a microsecond, he was in front of Caelum, his blade swinging in a horizontal arc designed to sever Caelum's head. The heat was so intense that the stone floor beneath them began to turn into molten glass.
But Caelum didn't move. He didn't even draw a weapon.

The flaming blade stopped exactly one inch from Caelum's neck. It didn't hit a shield; it simply stopped, as if the space between the blade and the skin had ceased to exist. Alaric's eyes widened. He pushed with all his might, his Level 80 mana erupting in a tidal wave of fire, but the sword remained frozen in mid-air.
"You call me a bug, Headmaster?" Caelum whispered, his voice cold and devoid of any human emotion. "A bug is something that exists within the system. I am the one who is writing over your system."
Caelum reached out and gently tapped the flat of the legendary blade with his index finger.

A high-pitched screech, like a thousand dying souls, echoed through the hall. The golden flames on Alaric's sword turned a sickly grey, then black, and finally... they vanished. The legendary weapon, said to be forged from the heart of a star, crumbled into dull, worthless iron in Alaric's hands.
"My... my sword..." Alaric stumbled back, staring at the hilt. "That was a Divine-Tier artifact! How?!"
"Artifact? No," Caelum stepped forward, each footfall sending a ripple of digital distortion through the hall. "It was just a piece of code with a high priority tag. I simply changed its priority to zero."
The crowd of students gasped in horror. To them, Alaric was a god. But before their eyes, Caelum was treating their god like a minor error in a textbook.
"Kira," Caelum called out, not looking back.
The assassin appeared beside him, her daggers glowing with a strange, flickering light. "Yes, Master?"
"The Council members are hiding in the upper balcony," Caelum said, pointing upward without looking. "They are preparing a Forbidden Seal to trap us. Go. Show them what happens when a shadow learns to ignore the light."
Kira vanished in a puff of static. A second later, screams of terror erupted from the balconies above.
Caelum looked back at the Headmaster, who was now trembling. "Now, Alaric. Let's talk about the 'Trash' rank you gave me ten years ago. I think it's time for a re-evaluation."
