"I was always code, Elara," Caelum smiled, though his legs were already starting to dissolve. "But now, I'll be the code that protects you."

Everything went white. No sound. No pain. Just a vast, empty silence.

Caelum's voice echoed through the new void, though he was nowhere to be seen.
