I woke up from a daydream I had it was foggy I didn't remember what it was about. Then I felt a pair of armes wrap them self around my neck. It was like a hug, a hug from the back.
"Luke, why won't you just let us help you?
Take some time for yourself as well."
It was Rayburn.
" Ophelia, help me out. Tell him. Tell him to let us help him."
"You should stop acting like he's going to die, when he goes out on missions."
Rayburn had this upset face on. It was really convincing. At this point it really looked like he was going to cry. He then let go of me and turned to her. Ophelia was just brushing her hair without a care.
" Ophelia, PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT!! He's still like a baby to me."
"Stop overreacting. He's old enough to go alone if he wants to."
"Yeah, why would you think that Rayburn? You know I'm all good by myself."
"There's no way you're saying that right now Luke. For someone that almost got them selfs killed, the last time I saw them during training. You got guts saying that."
I stared at him. Putting my head on a soft yellow bird pillow I had.
"And so, who was the one that helped you ??"
He sounded pissed I won't lie.
"ME!!! Who was the one who begged our father to let you work again????""
"You. . . "
"And who also somehow got your rank up as well? ME!!!"
Ophelia looked over at me, waiting to see if I was going to fight back like usual but I didn't this time. Instead i just answered.
"True. . "
He sounded like an ass hole but, Then Rayburn changed his voice to a more cleaner one sounding sincere and caring.
"Luke, you - you always work hard. Why don't you just let us help you In This one."
". . ."
I looked at him and didn't answer. And just like that they both ended up coming with me.
I soon, right after ended up regretting it. All they did was stand in my way. Ophelia also ended up passing out. they started to annoy me.
" Luka let's go back."
" Then why the fuck did you follow me if you didn't want to walk this much??"
Rayburn acted like if he could do anything before, but now he was just nagging to go back. Ophelia wasn't helping she was still out.
" I'm here to keep you safe Luke, from the dangers of this place."
I rolled my eyes ' that sounds like a lot of BS you know.'
"you're so mean Luke, and look we're all a mess. Ophelia passed out and I really think we should head back and let the others take care of this. it looks like this gate was tampered with, the level is very high now."
"look what if we do go in those doors, and we find nothing. I'm not sure why they allowed this 'project' to go this long but I know, this one isn't safe at all.
"All we now is that "thing" in there isn't like us. from what I remember from the paper work and testing, is it's fascination with-"
" look Rayburn, we'll be ok we're fine now we'll be ok when we get there. It's not like It'll drag us in without us noticing."
"but, still we should go back. I don't have a good feeling about this place Luke."

the ground shook a bit, but that wasn't anything to worry about.
"what is it this time ruth, you look like you seen a ghost or something."
Then the air felt colder than usual then I felt like the side of my arm hit something like jelly. Then, something like fingers came out and grabbed me and pulled me in before I was able to react.
I was dragged in without noticing anything.

"I-I , all I saw was something grab him and pull him in, it came out of no where. Ophelia woke up and at that time, and the thing that grabbed him looked like a regal person but I couldn't tell what it was. it looked distorted but still looked Human. be for it closed it said something but I wasn't able to understand it. "
" I'm sorry I wasn't able to do anything father."
"were's your sister?"
"she's in the recovery center."
"alright, i'll have to asker what her saw once she's better."
" uhm,"
"what?"
"well, Well he be ok?"

father kept writhing , it didn't seem to bother him that Luke wasn't here. he seem indifferent to it.
"I mean he's still young and, and he's usually with someone when he's out, in the was just-"
" what are you talking about? he's fine, if he can't handle that much then he shouldn't be there in the fist place."
"no that's not, but he's out there by himself. he won't be able to do much alone. why won't you let me go in and try to find him?"
"you talk a lot you know. wasn't that the plane from the start?"

I turned to see someone else in the room with e and my father.
"isn't the job done know? we wanted to get rid of him, and he's gone know so what."
'uhh it was Anthony. why is someone like him here.
"what do you know!"
"you don't even work in this. and what are you even doing here?? get out!!"
"Aawwww, you're being mean again ray-ray"
"don't call me that."
"anyways, I hard that the lab-rat went missing I just wanted to see if it was true."
"either way, if he doesn't come back, I'll just take his place. ^^how exciting.
"Its better to replace him than to leave the spot open, with no one taking care of the work."
"what are you even saying right now, he will be back."

"oh, don't tell me you took a liking to him? you were that one who wanted to get rid of him in the first place, so don't tell me your backing away from it. you'll get you place back. If he doest show up. so why are you complaining about it know?"
my father put his pen down and closed his book
"if you two are going to fight than get out. go do that out of my room, I don't want to deal with this right now. I have better thing to do then this."
"and Rayburn, I'll look in to Lukes case. don't go doing reckless things right now."
with that we were both kicked out of his room.
