~Salvatore's POV
Her smile faded just a little, but she forced it back quickly. "No," she said, sitting up slightly now.
"I don't want to leave. I want to stay here. With you." My patience thinned. And I didn't raise my voice. I didn't need to.
"Livia," I said again, slower this time, "leave my room."
That was when something flickered in her expression. It was pain. But it quickly turned into frustration.
"I said no," she repeated, her voice tighter now.
"Why do you always push me away like I'm nothing? I'm not just anyone, Salvatore." She started to stand, but I had already crossed the room.
Before she could fully react, I caught her arm and pulled her away from the bed in one controlled motion, not rough enough to hurt, but firm enough to make the message clear. She stumbled slightly, her expression shifting into shock.
"Stop," I said coldly, releasing her once she was steady.
"You don't enter my room without permission. You don't stay here when I tell you to leave."
