While walking, Jiraiya suddenly stopped. "I forgot to go to the hospital! System, how much time is left until the confrontation between Naruto and Sasuke?" Jiraiya needed to make his "cool appearance" like in the original plot, arguing with Kakashi about why he taught Naruto the Rasengan.
[Host, there are 1 minute and 53 seconds remaining.]
The moment Jiraiya heard this, he dashed toward the hospital using Body Flickers. "Damn it, I missed the show! This is all Tsunade's fault."
By the time he reached the hospital roof, the fight between Naruto and Sasuke was already over. Sasuke was staring at the massive hole Naruto's Rasengan had torn into the water tank. Furious, Sasuke stormed off, Sakura chasing after him. Naruto looked at his hand, stood up, and left.
Jiraiya leaned against a pole with his back turned, sighing because he had missed the classic scene between the two rivals. Kakashi's voice interrupted his thoughts.
"A Rasengan, huh? Don't you think that's a bit much for a kid that age? One mistake and he could have killed Sasuke." Kakashi appeared, leaning against the water tank Naruto and Sasuke had just smashed.
Jiraiya replied, "You're a fine one to talk. What about the Chidori? That was just as lethal. Besides, you know as well as I do that Sasuke is obsessed with revenge. Teaching him a technique like that... that's what I call a mistake."
Kakashi sighed. "He's like Orochimaru, isn't he? Sasuke can't stand Naruto getting stronger. To him, Naruto is his closest friend, but also his greatest rival. And Naruto feels the same way."
Jiraiya nodded. "Yeah... but it's becoming more than just a rivalry." Jiraiya thought to himself, I followed all the original lines, it's time to go. Before leaving, he told Kakashi, "I'm taking Naruto with me to train for two or three years. The Akatsuki are already on the move. When I bring him back to the village, I'll leave him in your care because I will be going to a very distant place."
Kakashi's expression grew profound. "Jiraiya-sama, why are you talking as if you're never coming back?"
Jiraiya thought, Of course I'm not coming back. In three years, I'll be in another world. He didn't answer the question but instead said something that absolutely crushed Kakashi: "And also... I've decided to stop writing Make-Out Paradise." Jiraiya said and then vanished.
Boom!
"NANIIII?!!!" Kakashi fell to his knees, staring into the void where Jiraiya had disappeared, wondering what the point of life was now.
Suddenly, Jiraiya reappeared with a stack of manuscripts. "These are the manuscripts that were supposed to be turned in to the publisher for a new volume. They're yours now. Take care of them. These are the final works of the Toad Sage."
Jiraiya felt like Kakashi was about to beg him to keep writing, so he immediately vanished again. Seeing that Jiraiya was avoiding the conversation, Kakashi sighed, clutching the manuscripts. "This is my priceless treasure from this day forward. Thank you, Jiraiya-sama, for your final work." Kakashi wiped away his tears, feeling both moved and heartbroken that his only pleasure in life would end with the stack of papers in his hand. He walked home with heavy steps to start reading.
Evening fell. Jiraiya was in his room at the inn when he heard a knock. It was Shizune.
"I'm sorry to bother you, Jiraiya-sama. Tsunade-sama sent me to tell you to report to her immediately." Jiraiya was about to refuse when Shizune continued, "She said it's an order."
Jiraiya slapped his forehead. Just when he wanted to sleep, that woman was bothering him again. "Fine." With a Body Flicker, he vanished.
Minutes later, he arrived at the Hokage building. He didn't bother with the door; he hopped straight through the window like the original Jiraiya. Inside, he found Tsunade buried under a mountain of paperwork. Kaito, who had been a CEO in his past life, shuddered seeing how disheveled she looked.
"Tsunade, why did you call me at this hour?"
Tsunade replied, gritting her teeth, "You have the nerve to ask? You made me Hokage and dumped all the responsibility on me, not caring about a thing for a week! Do you know how busy I've been? During the day, I'm treating patients at the hospital. All night, I'm working in this office. Not to mention that fox Danzo and those other two old gremlins constantly bothering me, telling me I'm not doing things right!" She stopped to catch her breath. "Do you understand, you bastard? You aren't leaving tonight!"
Jiraiya sighed, walked over, and put his hand on her forehead. "Hmm, you don't have a fever. I think it's worse—your brain is fried."
Tsunade moved to shove him, wanting to teach him a lesson for what he said, but Jiraiya interrupted her. "Stupid Tsunade, didn't I tell you to contact me only if it's important or urgent? I told you not to bother me with casual business. And know cleary see is urgent" He sat in the Hokage's chair and began looking through the papers.
Tsunade blushed. "Hmph, I didn't want to bother you, knowing how much you hate it."
Jiraiya looked up at her. "Tsunade, I made you Hokage. As long as I'm in this world, I'll take my share of the responsibility."
Tsunade puffed out a cheek. "Idiot, you're talking like you're about to die."
Jiraiya smiled as he read the documents, but that smile made Tsunade feel strange. He set aside a stack of papers and handed them to her. "Sign these. These only need the Hokage's signature. Once you sign them, you can go home. I'll handle the rest. You've worked hard; I'm sorry I didn't realize it sooner."
Tsunade took the papers, a sweet feeling blooming in her heart. "I'm not going home. I have an inflatable mattress here; I'll sleep in the office."
Jiraiya immediately stood up. "Stupid woman! Didn't I explain the dynamics between a man and a woman today? Do you intend to sleep in the same room as me?"
Tsunade looked him in the eye innocently. "Are you planning on doing something to me?"
Jiraiya's face went dark. "Like hell I am!"
"Then what's the problem?" she countered.
Jiraiya sighed and sat back down. "Do whatever you want."
Tsunade sat down with a victorious look and signed the papers. After she finished signing the papers, She pulled the mattress out of the closet, inflated it, and set it up in the corner of the office facing Jiraiya. She spread a sheet and a blanket.
"Jiraiya, close your eyes so I can change into my pajamas. If you peek, I'll beat you to a pulp."
A vein popped on Jiraiya's forehead. "Tsunade, I think you're going to put me in an early grave if I stay in this village much longer." He pulled out the eye mask the original Jiraiya used for sleeping and put it on.
Hearing this, Tsunade started laughing silently like a fox, covering her mouth with her hand. She began to undress when suddenly, Shizune burst in. Seeing her master in just underwear and Jiraiya blindfolded, Shizune's face turned bright red.
"Jiraiya-sama! Tsunade-sama! Please... carry on! I'm so sorry for interrupting!" BOOM! She slammed the door and bolted.
Tsunade's hair practically stood on end as she clenched her fists like a goddess of war. "That idiot! I told her to go home after she called Jiraiya! Why did she come back?!"
Jiraiya, hearing Shizune's voice, understood exactly what happened. "See, you idiot? Look what you did!" he snapped, clenching his fists in annoyance.
"Hmph! Shizune isn't a child anymore," Tsunade replied. "Besides, nothing actually happened between us, so what's the problem?"
