Emily's POV
Finally the day is here when I will be officially engaged to Liam Knight and within three days I will be Mrs. Knight. After a lot of thinking I have decided to give this marriage a chance. Liam is also a human like me and I know one day he will love me. Our marriage will be also like normal marriage instead of a deal.
I look at the mansion standing in its full glory in Awe. It's just like some palace where a king and his queen lives. Right now I am sitting in the car looking at the Knight mansion where my small engagement ceremony will take place. Laura is accompanying me on my big day of life where my uncle and aunty are crying for the loss of their daughter.
I know you must be thinking what happened to Tia?
Last night after talking to Laura when I reached home I found out Tia standing in the hall wearing a wedding dress with garland. Holy God!
She got married! When? How? Where? And why didn't anyone tell me about this? These were the questions running in my mind as soon as I spotted Tia in wedding dress.
Then I looked at uncle and aunty who also had a shocked expression like me, which means they were also unaware about the marriage. There comes her husband seventy year oldie. Tia has literally married a rich old guy for his money. Her new husband is a rich man of south Arabia who was here for some business and Tia being Tia become his one night stand ending up pursuing him to be his wife. So in short uncle and aunty are crying for losing their daughter Tia who left them alone and moved to south Arabia within a night.
"Where are you lost Anu? Have faith on God. Everything will be alright." Laura touches my shoulder seeing me lost in my dream world. Giving her a small smile I step out from the car and look at the magnificent mansion. I look back at the main gate where the media people are standing, trying to catch a glimpse. I know my marriage will be the only thing on media and all thanks to my marriage with Liam who is a multi-billionaire.
On entry Grandma invites me with a warm hug and she blessed me with 'Happy Married Life'. I hope her blessings come true.
Grandma takes me to center of the hall where Liam is standing and Laura moves toward the chairs to sit on it as she is not allowed by the doctors to stand for long hours.
I look at Liam standing in the hall wearing a maroon colored Tux looking different, for one second I feel all types of butterflies in the pit of my stomach only to remember that he is purchasing me. We don't have any love between us. I move toward him in slow steps and stand beside him with my eyes casted down.
Slowly I feel a hand snaking around my waist, I look up at Liam through my eyelashes and see an evil smirk on his face. I feel a slight warmth on my skin and all of the sudden I feel shy with his closeness then pain. Pain?
I look down at his hand and see his nails digging into the bare skin of my waist. I want to cry out loud in pain with his slow torture but I control myself as this is not the time to cry. Don't let him see you weak.
Soon it's time for the ring ceremony. Grandma brings Liam a ring which he will make me wear. On the other side Laura brings the other ring from my side for him. I have decided to make Liam wear my father's ring. Hoping he will respect this ring which is so close to my heart.
