The alarm clock buzzed at 6:00 AM,a sound maya despised.she used to hit snooze,bury her face in the pillow and dread the long hectic Day ahead.she was 32 working a high pressure job in city.constantly chasing promotion and worrying about things that hadn't happened yet.but that was before the "slowdown" maya set up streched.and looked out the window.The sky was a pale blend of lavender and soft orange.she didn't reach for her phone to check emails.instead she sat in the silence.listening to the Birds waking up in the oak tree outside.....
