Theon came to a stop several feet from the SUV, his gaze fixed on the man standing beside it. The underground parking level of Aldrith Corporation was almost deserted at that hour, the steady hum of fluorescent lights echoing faintly through the concrete structure. Two men crossed the far end of the garage towards the lifts, too absorbed in their own conversations to notice the group gathered several rows away.
Theon looked from Valeria to Aziel and then to the SUV they'd arrived in before his eyes settled once more on the Alpha of the Rhodes pack and his jaw tightened.
"What is the meaning of this?" he repeated, feeling his canines slowly lowering.
