Chapter 49 - || CHAPTER 49:The Species That Universe Fears ||

An unknown domain in the universe, where 12 universal beings were performing their respective tasks.

Neither the place nor the aliens were visible; everything was as completely dark as a night sky with no stars.

One alien spoke, "All of you, look here—this human kid has achieved another grand feat."

Everyone rushed over. Whenever Lucan caused a commotion, it was like a TV show for these entities.

After watching his fight with the Organization, another player, and Great Lord, the same alien spoke, "I wonder how he is considered a C-tier species? I mean, just look at his potential, guys."

Another one nodded, "Yep. But he is the first human to do so; maybe he is the only one with such potential."

Among the twelve, there was one alien positioned at the top with the highest power.

He frowned at this as his gaze shifted past a room sealed by countless galaxies. Inside was a person tied up in chains.

The galaxies had to be destroyed one by one in a particular order to reach the room, which possessed many indescribable features.

The prisoner's cosmic energy was fully drained whenever it reached just 0.1%, reducing it back to zero.

He was a human. He grinned, "I can feel everything... if I only had a drop of cosmic energy, haha! Looks like you met him, my fated descendant. His name was Lucan, right? Hahaha! It is time for humans to reclaim—"

The leading alien activated a mechanism, subjecting the prisoner to extreme suppression methods: he was frozen, boiled, and crushed.

His breathing turned heavy, and he spat out blood before falling unconscious.

The alien thought, *"Another human. Ugh! The last time this guy came, he suppressed all 11 universal beings with only one hand. Later, three generations of aliens from the universal beings had to fight just to seal him. Humans are labeled as C-tier and placed on one of the lowest-developed planets—Earth. It was all because if these humans used their full potential, every other alien species would be suppressed."*

He shouted, "Ignore these petty creatures! He is just a planetary-level being! Focus on your tasks."

All of them instantly left the scene, not just because of his status, but because he possessed the highest battle strength among them all.

He muttered, "Looks like I have to personally meet the Organization and spare a few words. We must kill this kid at any cost."

Another alien was secretly watching all these events; he was also one of the universal beings.

He quickly pulled out a communication device and contacted Org 1000 through a line visible only to the two of them.

He spoke, "Org 1000! Are you there?"

Org 1000 replied, "Oh Lord! Yes, I am, but my name isn't Org 1000, sir. It was made up for betraying the Organization."

The entity said, "I don't care about your name, fool! Go and meet Lucan in person. Make sure you are never found by the others."

Org 1000 agreed but asked, "But why the hurry? Right now, nobody can touch him; he has the Crystal of Betrayal along with two other crystals combined."

He replied, "Yes, but that is because none of you know the true backer of the Organization. Killing Lucan is their main priority now. They would even sacrifice the entire solar system for that purpose. We have to save him."

Org 1000 was dazed, "But why save him?"

He replied, "That is none of your concern! Shut up and do what I say!"

Org 1000 bowed down, "Alright, I swear on my life that Lucan won't die while my last breath remains!"

Org 1000 started to prepare.

He wore a hoodie to cover himself and changed his appearance to that of a common B-tier species.

Then, he boarded his spaceship and took off.

The spaceship was triangular in shape, featuring four wings—two on either side. At the rear, a blue light burst forth at top speed through a narrow thruster line.

The windshield was divided into three sections: the center provided a full frontal view, while the left and right viewports offered complete coverage of the sides and rear angles. This ensured there were no blind spots to target.

He pressed a button, making the ship completely invisible and intangible, allowing objects to pass right through it like a hologram.

Org 1000 tapped a rectangular bar on the control panel, and an automated voice asked, *"Whose location do you wish to query?"*

He stated, "Name: Lucan. Species: Human. Tier: C. Age: 16..."

The display instantly showcased a location. Seeing it, Org 1000 felt a brief moment of relief—nobody was present within a 1,000 km radius, and the area was far too dangerous for either the Organization or the Space Station to venture into.

However, his relief vanished when he realized Lucan was in that exact area.

He gritted his teeth and pulled the lever down, "Lucan! Why did you go to that zone? The lifespan-increasing location... its true name is **The Eternal Abyss of Life and Death**!"

He felt a chill run down his spine just saying the name, and he paused the spaceship for a moment.

Terrified to enter, Org 1000 re-contacted his master.

The universal being was confused; he had just given clear instructions, yet Org 1000 was calling him back already.

He asked, "What is the problem now? Have you been discovered by the Org—"

Org 1000 interrupted him. The alien was stunned; not even his fellow universal beings dared to interrupt him.

He chuckled coldly, "Interrupting me? Haha, I appreciate your bravery."

Org 1000 blurted out, "Master! No, listen to me! I found out where Lucan is, and nobody else is within 1,000 km of him!"

He replied, "So what are you waiting for, fool? You are annoying me. Don't blame me if you die at my hands."

Org 1000 said, "He is at *that* place... Even you would fear it."

The alien's rage flared, "Fear? Me? Name it! Let me destroy it with one snap, hahaha!"

Org 1000 muttered, "The Eternal Abyss of Life and Death!"

The universal being was taken aback. That zone was uniquely hazardous: if a solar-system-level alien entered, the zone's danger scaled to the solar-system level; if a galaxy-level being entered, it scaled to the galaxy level.

An entry by a universal being would be catastrophic.

He spoke, "Sorry, Org 1000! Even I wouldn't dare go to that place. You could have told me sooner."

Org 1000 replied with a sigh, "You never let me fully explain, Master. Now, what should I do?"

The being pondered briefly before commanding, "Proceed to the perimeter, 1,000 km away from that place, and await my orders."

Org 1000 agreed and set off toward the coordinates.

Meanwhile, in the Eternal Abyss of Life and Death—a place that terrorized cosmic entities—Lucan was sleeping peacefully.

As a human, he required regular sleep; although he could use cosmic energy to bypass it, he preferred saving his energy for emergencies.

At the location where the slime had previously died, the creature opened its eyes to find itself completely restored to vitality.

It said, "Wow! I reached heaven after death... sigh. Can I at least meet her here?"

It didn't realize it was still alive until its hands felt unexpectedly heavy. Looking down, it saw a pink glow shining as brightly as a mini star.

The ball of light condensed into a crystal: the **Love Crystal**!

The slime was stunned. It checked its body, finally realizing it was still alive.

It cheered, "Yes! I'm alive, hahaha! Lucan, you failed to kill me. From now on, I won't show you any mercy—I'm going to kill you and revive her!"
