Org 1000 snorted, "Before you were even born, grinning was invented! What right do you have to claim it as yours?"
Lucan replied, "Let it be, I don't care about it. Just tell me, when will that Universal Being of yours contact you?"
"This... even I don't know when he will do it!" Org 1000 admitted.
"So, let me go and continue to increase my lifespan until he comes! After all, my journey needs a longer lifespan," Lucan said, setting off at a steady pace.
Using the Fate guy's body, Org 1000 followed closely behind. As they walked, the Fate guy's lifespan began to climb as well. Org 1000 felt a moment of temptation to hop in and increase his own lifespan, but fear held him back.
"Lucan, I asked about joining your crew!" Org 1000 called out.
Lucan glanced back. "Yes, so—"
"I won't join you as your crewmate," Org 1000 interrupted. "I found my purpose in life, and I will be moving toward it. Can I travel in your spaceship until then?"
Lucan raised an eyebrow. "What do I get in return?"
"I am increasing the Fate guy's lifespan! Isn't that more than enough?"
Lucan laughed. "Then the Fate guy owes you, not me, Org 1000!"
"Don't call me Org 1000 anymore. I have a real name!"
"Aliens have real names? Wow! This is the first time I'm hearing that. So, what is it?"
Org 1000 explained, "My name is in my native language, which you wouldn't know. I'm currently speaking in the language you understand."
"I ate the language bean and the slime's language syrup! Isn't that enough?" Lucan asked.
Org 1000 shook his head. "The bean only works for the last three planets, and the syrup is strictly for the planet of slimes."
"Then how come you're able to understand me right now?"
"I also ate the syrup you had, so I can speak the language of slimes too!"
Lucan nodded, a thought striking him. "Can I get a device to communicate with all the beings present in this solar system?"
"Hmm! There are no beans or syrups for that, but you can use this," Org 1000 said.
Though Org 1000's true body was stationed 1,000 km outside the Eternal Abyss of Life and Death, he used the Fate guy's body to teleport a small item directly into his hands. It was a coarse, black, ring-shaped device.
Lucan took it and examined it. "Should I wear it on my finger?"
"Yes. After that, whatever language others speak will be translated so you can understand it. And whatever you say will be heard in their native tongue! A great invention, isn't it?" Org 1000 snorted proudly, as his species were the ones who built it.
Lucan slipped the ring on. Feeling no strange side effects, he said, "Say your name in your native language! Let me test this ring."
Org 1000 nodded and uttered a phrase. Through the ring, Lucan heard a clear translation: **"Aetheris Zacian."**
Lucan's lips curled up into a smirk. "Good name—the first real name I've heard since the start of my journey!"
Zacian smiled slightly. "Hehe! It's the name I gave to myself, since I was raised inside the Organization from birth."
"So you were a perfect spy all along!" Lucan said, impressed.
"Forget my past. That wasn't my true life, as it wasn't lived by my own choice," Zacian said firmly. "From this moment on, I, Zacian, will start my true life, walking a path of my own carving!"
A short distance away from Lucan's spaceship, the slime stood up and checked his body, which was covered in injuries. Gathering cosmic energy, he began healing himself.
"I can only use cosmic energy for fighting right now because I don't have a crystal," he muttered to himself. "But I am going to rewrite that. I'll learn to use cosmic energy for multiple purposes alongside crystals. First, I have to explore this place."
He looked around at the barren wasteland stretching endlessly in every direction, remembering his time with Lucan. They had discovered that this place was a null void—even if you dig underground, it remains a barren void.
Knowing the method to increase his lifespan, he resolved, "Alright, since I am here, I will build up my lifespan, because once I leave, I can't re-enter."
Step by step, he began to walk, pushing forward for hours with only brief rests. As his lifespan steadily increased, he practiced channeling his cosmic energy in different ways. He knew that as long as you maintain a specific application of cosmic energy over a prolonged period, you won't suffer instability.
His eyes were cold, calm, and tranquil, but beneath the surface, his heart burned with thoughts of vengeance.
"One day, I will take revenge on everything and everyone! But first... I hate being called 'slime.' Why shouldn't I have a name? That kid's name was Lucan Vale, right? Then I will be called **Kaol Noah**!"
With newfound determination, Kaol Noah pressed onward relentlessly until his figure vanished into the distant void.
Above, the Life Crystal observed his departure. *"Hmm, how come this person still chooses to live after all that?... Hehe! Another interesting creature. My boredom is finally at an end."*
Meanwhile, inside Org 690's spaceship, she was flying at maximum speed toward the abyss, entirely unaware of the horrors that lay within.
*"Slime guy! Please don't make any reckless decisions. Just stay alive until I get there!"* she prayed silently.
Suddenly, the crystal in her hands flew out on its own, shattering the windshield! Org 690 gasped as the sudden decompression sucked her out into the cold expanse of space, throwing her a great distance.
Heavily injured, her training as an Organization member kicked in. She pulled out a small, pill-like capsule made of concentrated cosmic energy—a tool designed by healing-type users so that minor to moderate injuries could be treated on the go.
She snapped the pill in half and inhaled the essence through her nose. A vibrant green light enveloped her body, stitching her wounds together and restoring her vitality within a couple of minutes.
Before she could recover her bearings, however, a massive object slammed into her!
The impact was far severe this time, bypassing the effects of the healing energy. The object pinning her was her own spaceship, still hurtling forward at maximum speed. She grabbed onto the hull, trying desperately to climb aboard, but the sheer drag peeled at her skin as blood welled up.
As her consciousness began to slip away, a vague figure materialized in front of her. Before she could make out who it was, darkness took her.
When Org 690 opened her eyes, she was lying safely inside her spaceship. The windshield was completely restored, and every single one of her injuries was fully healed. She stared at her hands in disbelief.
Outside the ship, a royal, elegant figure hovered in space, emitting a gentle and reassuring aura. With a warm smile, Destiny's Heavenly King turned and flew away once he verified she had awakened safely.
As he flew, the King looked down at his palm, which held a grey-colored crystal—the **Crystal of Desperation**.
"Hmm! So you were the one who caused this disaster?" the King murmured softly to the object. "I'll have to store you away properly so no one else gets hurt."
He set his course back toward the space station.
Far away on the trial planet, the All-Seeing Sage was waiting to take the two young boys to the space station when his communicator pinged. It was a message from the King detailing what had just occurred.
The Sage's eyes lit up, and he typed back a reply without delay.
Receiving the transmission, the King continued on his path. Suddenly, a voice emanated directly from the grey stone.
*"King! Oh, King! Listen to my side of the story before you make any decisions!"*
The King paused in mid-air, a look of genuine surprise crossing his face. "YOU... CAN TALK?"
