The fate guy stretched himself, "So which timeline are we traveling to? It's gonna be fun!"
The child guy frowned as he gave him a smack, "I have already clearly mentioned that we can't time travel with this device!
We can only bring or send items to different timelines! And we are going to bring back the pride crystal.
By the way, weren't you feeling pity for that kid a while ago? This sudden excitement..."
The fate guy laughed as he patted him, "Oh haha, you see, I knew everything! I just wanted to test whether you knew about it or not.

The child guy sighed, "You could have tried to convince me better! Now come with me, let's go."
The fate guy followed him after taking one quick glance at Lucan.
As soon as they both left, Lucan woke up and grinned, "Perfect! Now it's time to go back to Earth...

He stood up and pondered whether to go back or not...

All the beings moved to the center. The head spoke, "Crucial information on that human kid!"
Everyone let go of their tasks and paid attention.
The head being gazed at his power.
It flew up high in the air, "The king has been killed while Lucan has gone missing... but the death crystal's powers have been copied by me!"
Hearing this, the being who secretly supports Lucan thought, "So Lucan is safe? I knew it already. Zacian... I can count on you! Huh!"
But he showed no trace of the expression on his face.
The head being stroked his chin, "The king's dead! Good thing we have no more other races to destroy.
All human-related species have been eradicated! Now, humans are the only ones left.
Leave them; Lucan is the only one left to be killed! So I say we shall send galaxy-level beings to finish him off."
Another being frowned, "Just for a puny human? Isn't it too much?"
The head being replied, "I am not stupid like others, underestimating them! I have to ensure he gets killed 100% for sure.

The same being asked, "Why can't we? What can a C-tier human do? Haha."
The others joined the laughter.
The head being said, "None of you know about the struggles the three generations of our ancestors (universal beings) went through to trap that human."
Everyone turned quiet as they heard about "that human."
Nobody and nothing was able to kill him! He was still alive, despite them trying everything.
But he is sealed by galaxies and inside a chamber where even if he recovers a tiny bit of cosmic energy, it is sucked out! They knew his danger...
Another being asked, "But how can a C-tier species do so?"
The head being sighed, "Humans aren't C-tier! We created that label to prevent any aliens from making contact with them.
Because once they do, humans will develop way more than us! Overtaking us aliens! And we will lose our dominance.
LOOK! JUST FOR ONE HUMAN, IT TOOK THREE GENERATIONS! THEN IMAGINE A FULL RACE...

He spoke with a lot of ambition. All the beings pledged in chorus, "Aliens must dominate; humans shouldn't!"
The head being noticed our secret helper and asked, "You seem like you are thinking about something... speak!"
He was flabbergasted for a moment, "Me? Uh, what about me?"
Another being laughed, "Yes, you! Hahaha, too much daydreaming, I see."
The head being laughed, "A naughty one you are, huh? Hehe, alright, get back to work! I shall assign galaxy-level beings now..."
Our being thought, "Thank goodness that I am not suspected! But I have to stop them now..."
He said, "I have an objection!"
Hearing that, everybody started to give tough stares at him...
The head being asked in a cold tone, "What objection do you have?"
He replied, "According to the cosmos and fate, humans are rightfully the ones to be the rulers..."
Everyone started to frown at him.
He was speaking on the side of their enemies.
The head being's eyes glowed as cosmic energy surged throughout his body.
He released a small portion of it, and everybody was forced to kneel on the ground.
Our being still had a calm and tranquil expression.
Seeing this, the head being laughed and stopped his power, letting everyone take a breather.
He asked, "You didn't finish, right? Tell me, what is it that you wanted to say?"
He nodded, "Thank you for this privilege! But the fate crystal of our universe and sub-parts (galaxies, solar system) would all favor him.
First, we have to deal with them!"
Hearing these words, everybody started to ponder their earlier thoughts and realized it made sense.
The head being said, "Good... I appreciate your intelligence! If not for your objection, we would have simply been blinded by our desire."
The purple being sighed in relief as he thought, "Damn it... thank goodness! I just said it to buy time; I didn't realize that it was actually true.
Hehe, anyways! I gotta make Lucan grow stronger... must contact Zacian now!"

Seeing them all silent, the head being frowned, "Then we can't involve ourselves directly in this... we need an internal ally!
He must belong to our alien race—not a human—but should be powerful enough to kill Lucan without making fate take notice!"

The head being stood up and walked to our being.
For a moment, he thought, "Damn... did I mess up something? Please don't kill me right now..."
He felt a hand nearing his back, and he instantly dodged, "Don't kill me!"
A wave of silence hit them all, which then turned into laughter.
The head being laughed, "Good work! I wanted to pat you. Were you afraid I was going to kill you? Hahaha, why would I kill such a genius!
You are the pillar of our race!"
Our being was flabbergasted, "Really... me?"
Another being asked, "What do you mean, 'me'? Yes, you!"
Just as he was confused, he heard a voice in his mind.
It was the universal human: "I have increased your luck to its max! Don't let me down... my descendant shouldn't die under any circumstances...
That's all I can do for now!"
Our being replied in his mind, "I will! Don't worry about your descendant; he is my responsibility!"
He heard laughter echoing in his mind as he returned to the present.
The head being spoke, "Find Lord! I want to meet him. It's the only task for all of us now. Don't let him die under any circumstances.
He is our responsibility!"
Hearing it, our being smiled bitterly, "Damn it... being on two sides is sure tough! I wonder how neutral people exist."

Fate slowly woke up, opening his eyes, "What happened to me? Why is it so dark! Where are the stars!
