Just as Lucan was about to flee, another danger struck him!
The future life crystal and future death crystal found out his hidden location due to Zacian's recklessness.
He exposed Lucan's location to them. Seeing that, the future life crystal laughed, "Oh, so you were in there all this time! Hahaha, looks like your time is now over."
The future death crystal sighed, "He didn't do anything to the life crystal, right? Then I don't care about him at all!"
Zacian started to panic, "Forgive me... damn it, Lucan! Now we are both caught!"
But the being spoke, "As long as I am here, these small stones can't do anything to you! Zacian, trust me and jump into the portal which will appear now! Lucan, you do it too!"
Zacian didn't even flinch; he hopped in and escaped smoothly!
Meanwhile, Lucan grinned, "All of you! I have an announcement to all of you!"
Hearing that, the being frowned, "Lucan, don't play with me! It would take just a single thought for me to kill you!"
The future life crystal laughed, "Kid, don't push your luck too far!"
Lucan grinned, "Try catching me first."
Seeing this, the future life crystal replied, "Just wait where you are... I will catch you, kiddo! Haha, don't try to flee. I don't like playing hide and seek..."
Lucan teleported himself right to the place where fate's domain existed.
He walked in without hesitation. "Universal being... you too! Try catching me. If I win, none of you must disturb me ever again, hehe!"
Seeing his absurd confidence, the future life crystal backed down. "Don't tell me... you have brought the Golden Butterfly with you!"
The universal being's gaze was fixed upon Lucan. "Golden Butterfly... one of the unsolved mysteries of the cosmos... He is not bluffing! Zacian had seen him use it! Damn it... Lucan, please listen to me. You can be free once you save your ancestor. I will help you even reach the end of space!"
Since brute force had no hope of conquering him, he shifted toward convincing him directly.
Lucan smirked, "Okay... now crystals, what does your side offer me?"
The future life crystal frowned, "Damn the Golden Butterfly... if not for it, I would have killed you this instant, stepping over your skull!"
Lucan grinned, "I don't care about your thoughts. Tell me, what do you offer?"
The future life crystal contacted Fate through transmission.
He spoke, "I found Lucan! What can we give to convince him?"
Fate replied, "Lucan... I see. He has the Golden Butterfly, making it impossible for you to fight him head-on?"
The future life crystal replied, "Yes, but I wouldn't mind fighting—"
Fate interrupted, "No, he is special to us! We aren't his enemies; we are going to be his saviors!"
Hearing it, the future life crystal asked, "What do you mean? We side with a human? But I thought..."
Fate spoke, "I will explain everything in detail later. Tell him... I can help him go outside the Milky Way galaxy! It should be more than enough... And he won't trust us if we don't put on a condition. Say he must do something we ask for, and it wouldn't affect his goal! Hehe, this should be more than enough."
The future life crystal nodded as he returned to Lucan.
"Fate said he can help you reach outside the Milky Way! But on one condition..."
Lucan's eyes widened, "Outside what! The Milky Way galaxy..."
Seeing him moved, the universal being frowned, "Lucan, hmph! That's nothing! I can help you get outside the universe itself!"
Lucan's gaze again shifted, "Out of the universe..."
Seeing him switch sides, both sides started bargaining against each other.
Lucan raised his hands, "Stop! I will give y'all two days of time (based on Earth). Once it reaches an end, come and meet me. I will stay in that place until then!"
Before anybody could reply, he left, leaving everyone there in a dilemma.
In an unknown place...
Lucan sighed in relief, "That should be enough to buy time. The Golden Butterfly... when will it reawaken! If they knew I lied... I can't even imagine my situation!"
Then he took a glance at the Golden Butterfly, which seemed motionless in its slumber.
A strange warm sensation lit up his heart; a smile appeared over his face without even his own realization.
He said, "Golden Butterfly... you are the second most important thing for my existence... after my goal! Hehe, strange. Such a cold and pragmatic guy like me can also feel emotions. The gods (crystals) could feel emotions. Even universal beings can feel emotions. Emotions... they are really something that I can never calculate at all! Hahaha."
Saying that, he gazed at the night sky, full of bright, dazzling stars.
He connected them for fun and found them forming a well-known shape...
Earth!
His mind had thoughts of his family on Earth. He shook his head, "If I truly love them, then I mustn't ever return back, as it would make them live in danger too!"
Drifting far away in space...
The cosmos was spread everywhere; the space, stars, planets, and everything were just a part of itself.
The Lord's consciousness was trapped by the cosmos.
The Lord was laughing crazily, "Even the cosmos fears me! Hahaha, that's why I am Lord. Even gods fear me; yes, they must!"
His absurd pride had never left him despite any situation.
The cosmos made him suffer physically, mentally, and in every possible way.
But no matter what it tried, the Lord didn't accept defeat.
When he was physically assaulted, he gritted his teeth and endured it, laughing at the same time.
When mental pain hit him, he was unaffected! As he believed, even pain would be pained before his pride!
Inside this place, time was infinite! The Lord had never once given up.
The purple skies, with dazzling celestial brilliance, reflected the very image of the cosmos.
A silence so profound that even silence would be silenced to hear it was present there.
After a countless number of tries...
The cosmos was fed up! It decided to throw him away into the real world by nerfing him.
The Lord heard the cosmos smirk at him.
Then a bright white light blinded him. When he opened his eyes, he was an infant! A newborn to an alien couple.
They were holding him and crying tears of joy!
Everyone who looked at this sight gasped, "Gifted child! The child of God, The Chosen One..."
As the life crystal started rampaging, no lives were born.
Even a tiny microorganism ceased to reproduce!
All of them believed their unborn children would simply die.
And it was the case indeed, but when they saw the Lord being reborn, it was a miracle! Defying gods and heavens.
Hehe, even the gods are servants of the eternal cosmos. Nobody can defy it!
The Lord didn't retain any of his memories, as they were all forcibly erased, and he was now just a helpless kid!
The baby was lifted toward the sky where people started praying, "God! Your child will be taken care of well by all of us."
Everyone bowed down toward the sky.
The life crystal saw this scene and descended, "Impossible... a child was born without my knowledge?"
It hid itself to avoid any commotion and reached the infant Lord.
Seeing this, its heart sank to rock bottom, "Oh heavens, I hate to admit it, but it's indeed true! Shall I kill you? Hehe, you might become a threat to us in the future!"
It swung its hands straight down and struck him.
It smirked and turned around, "I am sorry, kid! Your fate's written so; even I can't save you!"
But it heard the giggling of the child as it turned around.
The infant was smiling at it, able to see it despite its powers.
Alarmed, it retreated several steps subconsciously.
"WHO THE HELL IS THIS KID! DAMN YOU, LOOKS LIKE I NEED TO FIGHT SERIOUSLY, HAHAHA."
The life crystal grinned as it waved its hands. A white spear appeared in its hands, "The Spear of Life! Never thought a day would come where I would use it..."
