Fate crystal frowned, "But... the reason for this entire reset is mainly Lucan alongside Lord. Their arrival disturbed our long-lasting peace and balance, making chaos everywhere... so why are they an exception?"
The cosmos laughed, "Because I say so! And you have no authority to question me, nor do I have any obligation to answer."
Fate crystal bowed down, "As you wish, Cosmos! So when do I begin?"
The cosmos spoke, "Right now! Don't worry, I will bring Lucan inside your range... hehe, now the real fun begins!"
Lucan, who was on Earth, magically reappeared inside Fate's place!
His eyes widened...
Fate grinned, "Cosmos... would you mind if I talk casually?"
Cosmos laughed, "I actually want you to!"
Fate said, "For the first time in my life, I'm going to see desperation on that kid's face! Hehe, you're right, this is indeed interesting."
The cosmos shifted his gaze past Lucan, thinking, "Hmm... so he's just normal?"
But the next instant, both of them froze in disbelief as they saw the following scene.
Lucan was laughing crazily with his arms wide open. He said, "Interesting! Such magnificent power, hahaha! So then there are realms beyond this... Which means I can achieve my goal! There are more cosmic realms... with unscalable powers! This is, hehe, so cool and amazing!"
The cosmos shook in excitement, "HAHAHA, KID, YOU ARE REALLY SOMETHING ELSE! FATE! WHY AREN'T THERE ANY HUMANS IN YOUR SOLAR SYSTEM?"
Fate gulped down saliva as he said, "Because... they were forced to be nerfed and suppressed by the other species of aliens..."
The cosmos smirked, "Do you take a fool out of me? Does it look like I am unaware of that fact? What I meant was, why haven't you opposed all those aliens and created humans?"
Fate crystal shrugged, "But... it would be too dangerous even for us crystals! Imagine if all the alien species united to fight us from different realms..."
The cosmos grinned, "I see! But do it now! It's what I want to see. I'm standing by humanity's side."
Fate crystal gasped in shock, opening his mouth and closing it.
The cosmos laughed, "When I said standing by, it's not like I'm aiding them! Hehe, I will stand by their side to thrive because they are super fun—more than these boring aliens, sigh."
Fate crystal couldn't even give an answer. Sighing deeply, he said, "The thriving of humanity, huh? Lord Cosmos—"
Cosmos interrupted, "ONLY COSMOS!"
Fate instantly corrected his sentence, "Cosmos, uhm! What I was about to say was: is the thriving of humanity in the hands of Lucan and that universal human right?"
The cosmos smirked, "You seem to know a lot more... good! Yes, and what about it?"
Fate took a long, deep breath before asking, "Then why aren't you acting yourself? If you decide something, then nobody can defy it! You are literally the one above every single entity! The Cosmos!"
Cosmos laughed heartily, "Yes, I can. But I won't!"
Fate's eyes widened, "Why?... Because you want a fair world where you mustn't misuse your powers for selfish gains? Just like me!"
Cosmos shook his head, and the entire place trembled rapidly—almost killing Fate!
The cosmos smirked, "Ah, too fragile! And it's not because of any such stupidity... It's because I want these things to be fun and interesting! Hehe, if I get involved, I know everything that would happen. It would be too boring! Hahaha! Letting these creatures do anything on their own and watching the events progress unpredictably... What more entertainment do I even need? Lucan and Lord are the reason I decided to disable my power of viewing and altering the future. Hehe, I hate spoilers! Now, enough with your questions because I feel it's enough. Now, reset them all! I'm too excited."
Fate crystal was teleported back to the real world, inside his place, where Lucan met him. As they exchanged gazes, Lucan grinned, "So it was you after all, huh? Fate! This is your true appearance, I see! Interesting! So now what's going to happen? We're gonna fight?"
Fate smirked, "Reset, kid! Be prepared to forget about your goal... permanently!"
The cosmos frowned a bit, transmitting, "Fate... I will erase you from existence if you try anything funny!"
Hearing this, Lucan's face turned pale as he started panting heavily.
The armor made of cosmic energy slowly faded, showing traces of him breathing at a faster rate.
His hands trembled and his eyes twitched in fear...
He fell to his knees, "I beg you, anything but not that... please, Fate crystal!"
Fate crystal thought, "Cosmos, I know you can hear me. You see, having him recall all his memories will make him a tough enemy for me! And look... hehe, this will be more fun for you to watch, right?"
The cosmos replied, "Fate! You're a genius! Yes, look at the genius kid—the one who never got afraid or miscalculated—trembling like an average human! Hahaha, how would he reach his goal this way? It's way more amusing! Hahaha, do it!"
Hearing the appreciation of Cosmos, Fate slightly blushed, "Hehe."
He flew up to the top, floating above everything and everyone!
Lucan grinned as he instantly appeared beside Fate, "Seems kindness won't suffice. Now regret not listening to me."
Lucan grinned widely as he started to laugh like a maniac. Holding his hair and face, he laughed madly.
Suddenly, his body started to change, making him become one with the cosmos itself!
His eyes were hollow, and with an unceasing amount of cosmic energy and powers beyond comprehension...
He punched Fate, killing him instantly! Fate was stunned, "Cosmos... you favored him after all..."
But suddenly time froze, and the cosmos smirked, "Fate, it's not me, but the kid managed to acquire a portion of my powers. It's unfair, I know, so I'm joining—don't worry!"
Fate crystal said, "Whose side?"
The cosmos went silent, "Nobody's. I'm resetting all of you... hehe."
Then... the entire solar system turned still and motionless, painted in pitch black representing nothingness.
And suddenly, the whole world shattered into dust fragments, bouncing off space like tiny shards.
A blinding black-and-white flash eclipsed over the entire solar system, shrouded in the flash...
Then, countless mixtures of colors seeped out of them, and countless others seeped in!
A bang explosion blasted beyond measurable scale.
All this happened in an instant! It took no time for this change...

Back on Earth, Lucan woke up on a couch in a living room.
He felt his mind running through extreme chaos when suddenly he blanked out!
He was in a daze until a figure shook him out of it—she was Lana!
"Hey Luc, what's up with that sudden startlement? Is something wrong?"
Lucan's memories were altered.
His memories were now of him working at a space research organization.
He had a girlfriend, Lana, who was also his childhood friend.
He grinned, "Must be because I have overdone my research!"
She hugged him from behind, "Ah, I told you to take a break, idiot! Hmph."
She snorted coldly, and Lucan sighed, "Well... I'm an idiot, I suppose? Hehe, if you say so!"
She kissed him on his cheek, "You certainly know how to attract people! Hmm... what if I left you alone and somebody stole you from me?"
He frowned, "What! Why do you think so, Lan? You are my only precious person in this world, hehe!"
The cosmos, watching these scenes, laughed, "Hahaha, is this really the Lucan I knew? He's too funny now. Hehe, I wonder what would happen if his older version saw his newer version! So Lucan, your journey begins here. How are you going to reach your goal now? Without cosmic energy, golden butterfly, or your pragmatism! I am eager to know..."
