"It's fine. There's plenty more food elsewhere☆"
But the Bebe Dragon let out a roar to the sky, its pain undeniable.
"You're not leaving here yet. Round two has just begun."
Walter burst from the Corruption Beast's body, tearing a massive hole and flying out. The Bebe Dragon lunged at him, its claws nearly catching him but a black Titan mech adorned with red accents slammed down, pinning the beast.
Walter had used the First Lawgiver's power, the Authority of Logic, to construct an army of Titan mechs. Mechanical constructs poured out endlessly from his back.
"Second Lawgiver, are you ready to face the First Lawgiver, to face the full force of Walter's power?!"
"An ambush?!"
Xilin's anger flared at the audacity of the man in front of her.
"How shameless, using human weapons! Is this the so-called power of a Lawgiver?!"
Something was wrong. Her defenses had been breached by mere human weapons!
"Don't be ridiculous! Human weapons cannot harm a god!"
A storm of Subspace Spears rained down, attempting to bury the Titan army beneath the ground.
But after the attack, the Titan mechs remained standing, unscathed and even growing in number.
Even the Bebe Dragon sensed something was off.
"These mechs… you created them?"
"Finally realized, huh… This is the First Lawgiver's ability. As long as I understand a weapon's structural principles, I can recreate it using Corruption Energy."
"Then everything, not just weapons, right☆"
"Yes. As long as I live, this army will never fall!"
"This is humanity's creation. This is what civilization can achieve!"
"I, Walter, represent humanity in challenging you. Let the gods judge whether humans deserve to survive!"

The concentrated firepower erupted, a display of human indomitable will, and Walter's determination to protect humanity.
The flames illuminating the sky also signaled Einstein, standing atop a massive mech, to act.
"It's finally begun. Help me inform Dr. Tesla to prepare the Silver Bullet."
"Understood, Egghead."
Watching Walter rush to the frontline and issue his ruthless orders, Dr. Tesla's eyes reddened. He saw in Walter the shadow of the first Logic Lawgiver, Joyce.
"Why must you imitate even this? Seeking death is fun, huh? Fool."
Walter's cruelty toward enemies was matched by his harshness toward himself. His family, especially Dr. Tesla, struggled seeing this side of him.
"Damn it. Second Lawgiver… let Dr. Tesla teach you the true power of humanity!"
The streaks of light across the battlefield carried destruction. The endless Titan mechs kept pressing the single enemy, the God's Apostle, continuously depleting Xilin's virtual barrier. The relentless firepower made it impossible for her to counter.
"No! I will never lose to a counterfeit like you, you traitor!"
Xilin activated the full power of her Lawgiver core, teleporting all incoming long-range attacks above the Titan mechs Walter had constructed. In an instant, the mechs suffered heavy losses.
On the battlefield, once a snowy plain, the land now endured indescribable violence. Flames danced in the distance, and the air was thick with smoke and dense Corruption Energy.
"Finally using your full power, Second Lawgiver?"
"The gods' power is indeed formidable. But it's not over yet."
With a wave of his hand, Walter's fallen Titan mechs rose again and resumed their assault.
"Fall and rise again! Humanity advances step by step!"
The strain of using his Lawgiver core began affecting Walter's body. Blood dripped from his mouth, but he would not falter before the army he had created.
The destroyed mechs were rebuilt. As long as Walter, the savior, stood, humanity would not fall.
"Come, our war has only just begun!"

Corruption Energy formed ribbons, binding Walter tightly. Xilin arrived, observing the defeated man.
"The game is over. It took me some time, but a counterfeit is always a counterfeit."
The ribbons wrapped around Walter's head, ready to end him.
"You… still smiling?!"
"Second Lawgiver, do you know what this is?"
A small hexagonal chip fell out, engraved with a crescent moon-like mark.
A tear dropped onto the scorched earth.
"…Brother?" Xilin tried to pick up the chip.
The will of [God] made her look to the sky. A shower of meteors streaked toward her.
The atomic weapon, the anti-god weapon developed by Dr. Reverse Entropy Einstein, was beyond Xilin's understanding as the Second Lawgiver.
But [God]'s guidance urged her to stay clear of it. She could not teleport herself to safety in time.
In the face of this unknown threat, an idea struck Xilin. Using all her strength, she teleported the weapon as deep underground as possible.
Let the earth be the shield.
Humanity's crystallized wisdom, forged for the purpose of killing gods, erupted underground. Even using the earth as a shield could not contain the weapon's full force.
The snowy plain was obliterated, flames tore the earth apart, and Xilin collapsed, near death, clutching a chip in her hand.
Walter emerged from the protection of the massive Titan armor he had pre-constructed and buried underground.
"Hah… you're not dead yet. Sorry. To protect this world, I have to kill you."
Using his remaining strength, Walter mimicked the Ninth Divine Key – Star of Eden.
"Zero Rated Power, release!"
"Farewell, Second Lawgiver."

A pitch-black void appeared above Xilin, pulling in everything around it. Objects dragged in vanished as if swallowed by a real black hole.
Near death, Xilin was slowly being consumed.
"Just a little longer! Hold on, my body!"
A spear of crystallized Corruption Energy pierced Walter's Star of Eden, while a man in a white suit with a clown mask struck Walter in the chest with his fist.
The simulated black hole dissipated.
"So the Star of Eden was also a counterfeit. Shattered by an attack from… somewhere?"
The Bebe Dragon, finally free from the mechs, caught the falling Xilin and flew toward the sky.
Walter, seeing Xilin escape, even after being struck down, tried to construct a weapon to stop her but was interrupted by the mysterious clown.
"Sorry, don't interfere with this lady. Her full awakening is necessary for my plan."
"Now that you're half-dead, I'll see you off."
The white clown drew a dagger, aiming for Walter.
A gunshot rang out from afar, knocking the dagger from the clown's hand.
