"Doctor, I may not be able to tell you everything," Emma said softly, "but I can tell you one thing for sure… the man Sarah is living with is not a human being, he is a monster."
Hearing this, Kevin was completely shaken. His heart sank with fear and guilt, and he began blaming himself internally for pushing Sarah away when she needed help the most.
"If things are really this serious," Kevin said worriedly, "then we have to help her. We need to get her out of all this."
Emma carefully observed the concern in Kevin's eyes. She noticed that Sarah was supposed to be only his former patient, yet the amount of care and fear he carried for her was far beyond that.
Kevin then told Emma about Sarah 's medical reports. He explained that someone had been giving Sarah extremely dangerous medicines, medicines that could seriously damage her health and could even cost her life.
Emma was horrified after hearing this. Now she too became deeply worried for Sarah . Instantly, her suspicion went toward Ryan .
Without wasting any more time, Emma gave Kevin her contact number and asked him to meet her at a café later because she wanted to tell him everything about Sarah and Ryan 's past.
After quickly finishing his work, Kevin rushed to the café and met Emma. She was sitting quietly on the chair opposite him.
Taking a deep breath, Emma finally began revealing the truth.
"Yes, it's true that Sarah and Ryan first met in college," Emma said. "The moment they looked into each other's eyes, it felt like love at first sight."
"Ryan was a spoiled rich boy from the very beginning. He always lived a luxurious life using his father's money. On the other hand, Sarah had lost her parents in a road accident when she was just a child. She grew up in an orphanage."
"Despite coming from completely different worlds, they fell deeply in love with each other. They started spending more and more time together, and slowly they became extremely close."
"One day, Ryan finally confessed his feelings to Sarah , and she happily accepted his proposal. Not because he was rich or handsome… but because she truly loved him with all her heart."
Emma paused for a moment before continuing.
"But the truth is… Ryan never truly loved Sarah . He only loved her innocence and beauty, not her as a person."
"After college ended, they started living together. But their relationship only looked happy from the outside. Slowly, distance started growing between them."
"Both became busy in their careers. Ryan joined his father's company and became the CEO. He got so busy that sometimes he didn't even have time to answer Sarah 's calls."
"Sarah , on the other hand, had always loved voice acting and translating languages since childhood. She eventually got a job in a dubbing studio. No matter how busy she was, she always made time for Ryan . But Ryan kept ignoring her and slowly lost interest in her."
Emma's expression darkened as she continued.
"But things became even worse when a new client named Alice entered Ryan 's life."
"Alice was extremely beautiful and attractive. The moment Ryan saw her, he was completely fascinated by her. Slowly, they became close friends, then business partners."
"The time that Ryan should have spent with Sarah … he started spending with Alice instead."
"And because of that, his behavior toward Sarah started changing."
"He began comparing Sarah to Alice all the time. He criticized Sarah 's clothes, her personality, even the way she dressed."
"He would say things like, 'Look at Alice. She's so hot and stylish. And look at yourself… you dress like an old-fashioned girl.'"
"These words hurt Sarah deeply."
"But Sarah loved him so much that she tried changing herself just to make him happy. She started wearing clothes like Alice, dressing like her, even wearing high heels despite feeling uncomfortable in them."
"One day, Sarah dressed up like that and went to Ryan 's office hoping to surprise him and make him happy."
"But those clothes and heels were so uncomfortable for her that the moment she entered the office… she slipped and fell in front of everyone."
Emma's eyes filled with sadness as she remembered it.
"The entire staff started laughing at her."
"But what hurt Sarah the most was when Ryan himself came there."

"Sarah looked around helplessly. Everyone was laughing at her."
