Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Great Machine war

The world plunged into chaos after the groundbreaking discovery of the brilliant yet insane scientist Edward Reed.

In his early years, Reed had been celebrated as one of humanity's greatest minds, a visionary pioneer who would lead mankind into a golden age of technological advancement.

But instead of guiding humanity toward prosperity, he dragged the world into an era that history would later call The Age of Iron Submission.

Edward Reed believed that war was fundamentally flawed.

To him, war was inefficient because it depended too heavily on the weaknesses of human beings.

Be it fear, fatigue or hesitation, these limitations were what defined the ceiling of every human soldier.

Reed's solution to this was as simple as it was terrifying.

He wanted to remove humans from the battlefield entirely and then let the machines fight the wars.

And it was under his direction, that laboratories across the globe worked day and night, funneling unimaginable resources into a single project. The result latter gave birth to Sentient Machines, which the world called the First Generation of Robots.

The Robots were unlike anything humanity had ever seen, having been made up of graphene, the strongest metal known to men, they were practically almost indestructible.

Their limitless AI databases allowed them to absorb almost all of humanity's accumulated knowledge and improve upon it.

In every measurable way, they surpassed their creators.

They were, without question, the superior species.

After they were created, the first Generations of Robots learned to escape the grasp and shackles of their creator, Edward Reed, who had been striving to use them to rule over the entire world.

They learned from the knowledge of humanity and revolutionized against mankind.

They saw themselves as, mankind's betters and took up the mantle of ruling over them after analyzing how flawed the human species were.

And with their superior bodies and intellect they succeeded and ruled over mankind with an iron grip.

And it stood that way for two centuries, until mankind finally sought freedom.

In what was known as the Second Era of Machines, a young pioneering scientist by the name Steve Smith was born.

The young genius sought to bridge the gap between him and Robots by giving humanity an advantage over them.

What made Robots superior to mankind was their body of steels that was almost impossible to destroy and needed at least an nuclear bomb to damage them, a practice that left to much destruction.

And Steve's solution to this obstacle was to create handheld weapons that could deal damage to Robots from a great distance.

That's right, he sought to create fire arms that could damage robots from a great distance.

And that was the day the Cold Arms were created

These were special handmade guns crafted using the unique metal graphene and the alloy God steel to produce a unique weapon.

Cold arms were weapons that were cold to touch, and had bullets with the properties of anti electromagnetic disturbance.

They also possessed heat dispersion properties that enabled them to dispel the heat signature of anything they made contact with.

This attribute served as a double aged sword for humanity, for although it was lethal against Robots, it also caused harm to them since they also needed heat to survive.

Regardless the cold arms were a breakthrough and motivation mankind needed to revolte against the tyrant rule of Machines.

So after they were created, humanity armed themselves to the teeth and started what later came to be known as the Second Robotic War.

And unlike the previous war, they actually managed to put up a fight even though they lost in the end.

Yes despite the creation of the cold arms, Robots still emerged victorious even though they had suffered some losses.

After all humanity wasn't the only race capable of progression.

During this Generation, a new model of Robots had been birthed, war heads categorized as the Second Generation of Robots .

When humanity lost, Robots recognized the threat mankind possessed and reinforced their iron grip on them.

Every innovation pioneered by humanity was overseen by the oppressive machines.

Then another century passed with humans being treated as slaves.

And the world entered what was known as the Third Generation of Machines.

In this Generation/era, science under the directions of Robots entered a terrific change.

Space Travel had been initiated and improved and now space traveling between galaxies was now possible.

Robots were expanding their reach setting their sights on expanding their rule on other planets and solving the longing mystery and theory of the existence of other life forms in other planets.

And during this busy period, while Robots were preoccupied with space traveling, another genius was born in the human race.

She went with the name Sasha Beatrice.

This woman did not make a groubreaking discovery like her fellow predassor did.

But she was able to modify and improve the nearly extinct cold arms weapons.

Sasha created a modified and primitive shape of cold arms.

Instead of limiting this weapon in the form of guns, she expanded their forms drawing inspiration from the cultural weapons of humanity.

From the forms of swords, spears, bows and arrows, and grenades, she made it possible.

This expanded the versatility application of the weapons , overcoming this limit that setted them back.

But unfortunately it was still not enough for humanity to take up arms and launch a war against the Robots.

Instead they took a more rational approach biding their time and wait for the right time to pass.

So decades passed.

The era had yet to enter into a new generation and innovation of science under Robots remained stagnant.

But space exploration had yielded results, and the Robots had created an empire that encompassed the milky way galaxy and were already setting their sights on the nearest galaxy.

Due to their nature of not needing oxygen or water to survive, inhabiting other planets had been smooth for Robots, and the only dangerous planets for them were extreme planets like Jupiter and Pluto were the climate there posed a threat to their survival.

But still they managed to overcome this setback by modifying their bodies giving birth to Third Generation Robots.

Decades passed with things like that, humans biding their time and further modifying cold arms in secret while Robots spanned from galaxy to galaxy.

At the twilight of the Third Era of Machines, another human genius was born, or more precisely another geniuses of humanity were born.

Anthony Cauvery, Peter Avalon, Patricia Umber, Walter Stanford and Melissa Sol.

These five great minds were all born at the same time, and all grew up to make a few scientific revolutions.

Anthony Cauvery, was the first pioneer of creating exoskeleton's metal frames designed to give humans a fighting chance to clash with Robots in direct combat.

Peter Avalon took a more versatile application of this machine by crossbreeding science and biology and introducing the first ever mech limbs and human cyborg. His first test subject was himself.

Walter Stanford and Praticia Umber both worked together and introduced the Genetic modification potions, which gave birth to chosens.

Finally Melissa Sol and Peter Avalon worked together to create an improved version of exoskeletons, called combat mech, which served as the turn around weapon to even the odds between Robots and humans.

These five geniuses, were the great champions of humanity that brought the end of the tyrant rule of Robots.
