Chapter 1 - Fool, but how many

Millions of light years away from anything, the center of the universe where at this point in time should be quiet, should finally be peaceful. When I pulled a battle here, the peace vanished.

"What do you think your destroyer title will do? I've manipulated you into killing your friends without breaking the slightest sweat." Said a person completely black and hazy.

That doesn't matter now, this world is simply not able to be saved. The only way to ever avenge them, is to kill 'blank'.

"I'm sorry 'blank' but I have to kill you like everyone else. Even if this is wrong too."

"Yeah? Well come try it, I'll let you have a free shot." The mysterious person extended their arms outward.

The dark space behind us felt less like a void compared to the heartless individual in front of me. I'm sorry, everyone. I should be close enough. If they're dumb enough to let me attack, I'll just use it now. I extended my hand and started the spell. A glow radiated off my face and I followed the steps to the spell that I was given. The person in front of me shrieked at the sight of the glow. The fear was unfounded from the weight of something very costly lurking off my face. The only way to win is to destroy this universe, and hope I wasn't tricked again.

"Lord above all, destroyer." It whistled out.

My body glowed with all my strength put into the spell. The range of the spell expanded rapidly as I envisioned magic flowing into whatever symbol or rune that was on my face.

"Petrichor fire."

Invigoration filled my speech. The chant composed with the unspoken. Words fell in place. The natural course of action for a being such as 'destroyer'.

"Grasp the universe and devour it."

'Blank' stared at me with a dead pan look on their face. Their body was shaking ever so slightly.

"Universal destruction."

How could I have gotten this spell, I was so close, I would have known. That's what she's thinking right now, I know it. Ultimately, nothing could stop the gravity that pushed the universe into itself.
