Chapter 1 - Graphic God: Re-designing the Apocalypse

The neon blue light of the dual monitors was the only thing keeping Kuraish awake. It was 3:42 AM in the heart of Dhaka. Outside, the city was unusually quiet, but inside Kuraish's apartment, the hum of the CPU and the frantic clicking of his mouse told a different story.

"Come on... just one more render and I can finally sleep," Kuraish muttered, his bloodshot eyes fixed on a complex 3D model. As a professional freelance graphic designer and motion artist, his life was a cycle of deadlines, client revisions, and endless coffee.

He was currently working on a post-apocalyptic scene for a client—ironically, a world filled with ruins and monsters. Little did he know, his art was about to become his reality.

Suddenly, his screen didn't just flicker; it distorted. A massive static noise erupted from his speakers, and the air in the room grew cold and heavy.

"What the hell? Is this a virus?" Kuraish jumped back, his chair scraping against the floor.

He looked toward his window. The familiar skyline of Dhaka—the tall buildings and tangled power lines—was dissolving. The sky wasn't dark anymore; it was fractured into giant, glowing pixels. Massive red 'Error' codes floated in the clouds like digital scars.

A deafening roar shook the building. Kuraish looked down at the street. A stray dog was convulsing, its body stretching and glitching with purple electricity until it grew three times its size, its fur turning into jagged black shards. It was no longer a dog; it was a monster.

[Congratulations! You have awakened the Unique Hidden Class: THE GRAPHIC GOD.]

"Graphic... God?" Kuraish whispered, his heart hammering against his ribs.

Before he could process the thought, his apartment door exploded into splinters. The mutated dog—now a Level 5 'Glitch Hound'—stood there, its eyes glowing with a malevolent red light. It lunged, its teeth bared to tear his throat.

In that split second of pure terror, Kuraish's designer instincts took over. He didn't reach for a knife; he reached for the air.

"SELECT!" he shouted.

Suddenly, a semi-transparent interface appeared before him. It looked exactly like a high-end design software—complete with a Toolbar, Layers, and a Properties Panel. Time seemed to slow down.

[Skill Activated: Create Layer (Physical)]

A solid, blue-tinted transparent barrier appeared instantly between him and the beast. The Glitch Hound slammed into it with the sound of a bird hitting a thick glass pane. The barrier vibrated but held firm.

"It... it works? This is like Photoshop, but for the real world!"

The monster growled, trying to claw through the 'Layer.' Kuraish realized the barrier's 'Opacity' was dropping; it wouldn't last long. He needed a weapon. He looked at his desk—only a common wooden pencil was lying there.

[Item Detected: Wooden Pencil (Common)]

[Opening Properties Panel...]

Kuraish's fingers moved with the speed of a pro designer. He didn't just see a pencil; he saw its 'Source Code.'

"Change Material: Wood to High-Carbon Steel!" he commanded, his mind focusing on the 'Render' command.

The pencil began to glow with white light. Its texture shifted, the wood turning into cold, dark metal, and the lead tip sharpening into a lethal, diamond-hard spike.

[Item Successfully Re-Rendered: God-Slayer Spike (Grade: Rare)]

The Glitch Hound finally shattered the barrier. It leaped again, but this time, Kuraish was ready. He stepped aside—a move he had seen in countless action movies—and drove the metallic spike deep into the monster's neck.

[Critical Hit! You have dealt 150 Damage!]

[Target Deleted.]

The monster didn't bleed. Instead, it dissolved into a cloud of glowing pixels that were absorbed into Kuraish's body.

[Level Up! You are now Level 2.]

[New Tool Unlocked: Eraser Tool (Basic).]

Kuraish stood in his ruined apartment, breathing heavily. He looked at the glowing interface floating in the air and then out at the chaotic, pixelated world.

"If the universe is a broken program," he said, a cold, determined smile forming on his face, "then I'm the one who's going to debug it. It's time to re-design the apocalypse Kuraish walked over to the shattered remains of his balcony. The screams of the city were distant now, replaced by the mechanical hum of a world being rewritten. Far in the distance, a massive glowing pillar shot into the sky, labeling the center of the city as a [High-Level Dungeon Zone]. The hallway lights flickered in an erratic, digital rhythm. Every step Kuraish took felt heavier, as if the gravity itself was a poorly coded physics engine. He could hear the scratching of claws against the concrete floors below—more glitches, more monsters.

"If I can re-render a pencil," he whispered, staring at the dimly lit staircase, "I can re-render this entire building."

He tightened his grip on the God-Slayer Spike, his eyes locked on the flickering shadows. The Graphic God was no longer just designing for clients; he was designing for his life.
