One fine afternoon, the men left for work as usual, and Mavis left to
see her friends. Adele was at home with Savannah and the servants,
locked up in her room as usual. She felt the urge to use the washroom,
but found it difficult to get up since she has been sitting for too long .
She called for help but it seems nobody was there, she then struggled
and finally, got to the washroom. Coming out, she slipped and with a
loud 'thud' she fell down. Crying out for help, she lost consciousness.
Mavis came back panicking, and searching but could not find Adele.
She then called Joshua, who went to her house but all was in vain.
Kevin too came home to join the search. Back at home, Mavis kept on
blaming Savvy who wouldn't stop crying. "It all your fault. I know you
know her whereabouts. Where is Adele?" Mavis exclaimed, ready to
hit Savvy when Kevin held her hand. "Sorry mom, but I quite remember
that you told her to stay away from her and she did exactly that" Kevin
said. This was what Joshua saw when he returned home. "You
ungrateful brat! Mom took you in though your mom was the cause of
this family's problems" he said in disgust. "This family had problems
before you were born…"Mavis interrupts Kevin. "That's a lie! We were
fine until your mom sent in that message. I have hated that woman till
this day". Without a word, Kevin left the house furiously with his wife.
Joshua went to the washroom to wash up and found Adele
unconscious on the floor. He freaked out and called Mavis. They
immediately checked her pulse and was relieved to find out she was
okay and quickly rushed her to the hospital. Savvy kept on persuading
Kevin that they should return and help in finding Adele but he didn't
budge until Joshua called to inform them about Adele's state.
Few minutes after waiting, the doctor came and announce "I'm
sorry but the patient is in a critical condition, so we need to perform a
surgery which might put the baby or Adele's life in danger. Who should
we save if that happens?". Joshua chose Adele without hesitation but
Mavis also heard the conversation and told the doctor to save the baby
instead. Mavis: "Doc, don't listen to Joshua. Save my grandchild and I'll
pay you a hefty amount of money", He looked amusingly at her but said
nothing. Adele was then taken to the operation room.
Some hours later, the cry of a baby was heard from the room and
Mavis sighed with relief. Just then Savvy and Kevin too arrived with
both mom and baby items. The baby was kept in an incubator and
nobody was allowed to touch her. They felt so happy when they learnt
it was a girl. Adele was also brought out of the theatre and Joshua
finally felt calm. Two hours later, Adele finally gained consciousness
and insisted on seeing her baby so Joshua took her there. She stood
there for almost ten minutes without a word and finally said. "My
Kimberly is very beautiful. Joshua; isn't Kim beautiful?" he nodded and
she hugged him only to realize after minutes that, she was asleep. He
was amazed at how Adele just came up with the baby's name.
