#Chapter 83
The sound of things getting smashed, along with the Emperor’s livid bellowing filled the halls.
The entirety of the servants and maids that were in the vicinity had to hold their breaths and tremble in fear.
This wasn’t one of his usual psychotic outbursts.
Though the Emperor was fully in his right mind, he was rampaging like a madman, unable to control his rage.
According to the steward, he apparently unsheathed his sword and slashed at everything in his reach while screaming at the top of his lungs.
“Your Highness, I’m afraid this isn’t the best time to pay His Majesty a visit.”
The old steward warned the Princess in front of the doors to the Emperor’s cabinet.
Afraid of what the Emperor might do to her amidst his fury, the steward seemed to be trying to prevent the worst from happening, but Diana didn’t step away.
A moment like this in which rage clouded the sly Emperor’s judgment was the exact moment she had been waiting for.
