Aracne shattered

This section provides a simplified overview of the power dynamics, the magical parchment, and the laws governing the Brooken Lands.

{ General Lore }

The Brooken Lands are the ancestral home of the Arcane people.

It was here that they forged the legendary Ring, an artifact of such immense power that it end

ed a centuries-old war between humans and dragons by sealing the true strength of both races.

However, the Ring was shattered under mysterious circumstances.

This cataclysm caused the Nightmare Realm to fracture and bleed into the physical world.

Horrors from the deepest subconscious spilled into reality, laying waste to kingdoms and dragging civilization into ruin.

Those outside the Brooken Lands were struck by various curses.

These afflictions grant terrifying power, but always at a st

eep price—for in this world, nothing is free.

A legend persists among the "Cursed" in the Far Lands:

"He who gathers the fragments of the Arcane Ring shall be cleansed of his curse forever."

Driven by this hope, the Cursed journey toward the Brooken Lands to face their destiny.

{ The Power System }

While every curse is unique, all Cursed share a common mechanical framework governed by the magical parchment:

• Title: This is a permanent definition of the individual's curse, often cruel in nature.

It rarely changes unless the individual achieves a pr

ofound, total understanding of their own power.

• Rank: This defines the individual's current standing and power level.

A jump in Rank is not merely a numerical increase but a fundamental transformation of the user's will and essence.

• Aspect: This determines a person's fundamental alignment—whether they belong to the Nightmare or the Abyss.

nger and potential of their power.

Acquiring Rank & Memories:

• The Path of Slaughter: Killing 100 standard-tier monsters or knights will grant a single Rank increase

This is a deep philosophy; those aligned with the Nightmare pay a lighter price for their power, while those bound to the Abyss face much harsher and more agonizing tolls.

• Fragmented Memories: These are essential for growth.

They allow a person to climb the Ranks and master their curse.

By acquiring these memories, one understands the true d

a.

• The Path of the Elite: Slaying high-tier monsters or commanders allows for an immediate Rank jump.

The greater the risk of death, the higher the reward.

{ Hierarchy of the Cursed }

From lowest to highest:

• Unranked (Morder's starting point)

• Slayer

• Cinder

• Saint

• High Sovereign

• [Unique Rank]: A specialized tier that differs based on the individual's specific curse.

{ Monster Classification }

• Monster

• Bloody

• Profane

• Grave Scatterer

• Calamity

• Tyrant

• Nightmare Aspect

• Abyssal Aspect

The "Oken" Marker:

Monsters carry physical traits called Oken that reveal their rank.

For example, a monster with a single wing is a low-tier Monster, while one with 20 wings is likely a Nightmare or Abyssal Aspect.

This can also manifest as the number of tails, swords, or limbs they possess.

{ Human Hierarchy (Brooken Lands) }

• Knight

• Commander

• General

• King

• Reich

• Outcast Ruler

{ The Dragon Tribes }

Dragons are divided into three distinct, terrifying lineages:

• Arksid: Wingless drakes possessin

g raw, devastating physical strength.

• Helldown: Colossal titans that forgo fire-breathing in favor of complex, destructive sorcery.

• Azathoth: The Sovereigns of all dragon-kind.

Their appearances are rare and shrouded in mystery.

They are the only beings capable of wielding the dreaded Crimson Lightning.
