Centuries passed.

But the war never truly ended.

It only changed its form.

Now, the Djinn roam the human world after sunset, hunting in the dark and growing stronger with every life they take.
And above them all stand the most feared of their kind:

The Ten Ifrits — rulers of the Djinn Realm, each powerful enough to bring catastrophe upon the world.

And then, one night…

The life of a lonely and ordinary boy named Kaito was shattered forever.

On what should have been a normal evening, his mother sent him out for a simple errand.

When Kaito returned home, he found an Ifrit slaughtering his family and feasting on their remains.

Driven by grief and a burning desire for revenge, Kaito follows the path of the hunter who saved him and finds himself within the Djinn Hunters’ Union.

There, he meets two others:

Ren and Aiko.

Together, the three of them set out on a deadly journey against the Djinn, the Ifrits, and the darkness consuming their world.
