PROLOGUE — A Man Without a Heart

Alex Miller was not human. At least… that's what people said.

Born into a powerful family and raised under discipline so strict it erased all emotion, Alex never learned how to live. He only thought of how to win. How to dominate. How to become number one.

At the age of thirty-eight, he achieved it. He became the richest man in the world—untouchable and unreachable. But greatness came at the cost of happiness.

He had wealth beyond measure and influence over nations. To the public, his life was perfect. But the truth was hollow: he had no real friends. No one showed him love. There was no warmth. Even his marriage was just a contract—a beautiful stranger sharing a last name. He had never even touched her skin.

And yet—a child existed. Not his, but carrying his name. Alex never questioned it, because questioning required emotion, and he had none.

The First End

Death happened quietly, just like his life. A blade straight to his heart—a decision born from fear.

His wife stood over him, trembling. It wasn't hatred in her eyes, but terror. She knew that if the truth about the child came out, the Miller family would ensure she never drew breath again. So, she acted first.

As his life faded, Alex felt nothing. No anger, no regret, no sadness. Just emptiness.

"…So this is death."

Then—a screen appeared.

[ROLEPLAYING SYSTEM ACTIVATED]

[CORE PERSONALITY: INCOMPLETE]

[ASSIGNING ROLE]

Alex blinked. For the first time in his life, he felt confusion.

The Cycles of the Warrior

World: Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba)

Role: The Strongest Demon Slayer

Mission: Kill Muzan Kibutsuji

In this life, he learned purpose. Not emotion, but direction. He fought, endured, and adapted. In the end, he killed Muzan and saved countless lives. He died old and alone.

"…Again."

World: Naruto

Role: Rock Lee

Mission: Save Neji Hyuga; Protect Might Guy.

Something changed. He trained with the intensity of Lee but fought with the detachment of a machine. When the war came, he didn't hesitate. He opened all Eight Gates and faced Madara Uchiha alone.

With speed beyond limits and power beyond reason, he forced the legend to laugh. "Of all those who have fought across the years… there is no one who surpasses you in taijutsu! I, Madara Uchiha, declare you the strongest of them all!"

For the first time, Alex felt something close to satisfaction. Then, having given everything, he died before Naruto could save him.

The Search for the Unknown

He lived again. And again. And again.

A perfect marksman like Deadshot. A digital genius like Rache Bartmoss. He was a warrior, a killer, and a legend. Each life gave him something: skill, experience, and perspective.

Slowly, very slowly, he began to change. He smiled sometimes. He spoke more. He observed others. He tried to learn, but he still couldn't connect. He remained a comrade or a student, never a friend or a lover. He didn't understand the "why" of emotions.

He saw it everywhere: people fighting like madmen for one another, crying and dying for each other. It made no sense. Why stay with someone for no reason? Why risk everything for a single person?

Deep inside, something stirred. Envy.

"I want to understand it…"

[MISSIONS COMPLETE]

[REWARD: FREE WORLD ASSIGNMENT]

[NO OBJECTIVES]

Freedom. For the first time in all his lives, he could live for himself.

"...Then I'll find out," Alex said quietly. "What makes this emotion called love so special."

The Shattering

Then, everything broke.

[ERROR DETECTED]

[WORLD: ZENLESS ZONE ZERO]

[ANOMALY: HOLLOW ZERO]

[UNKNOWN ENERGY INTERFERENCE]

His body failed to form. Again. And again.

[CRITICAL FAILURE]

[EMERGENCY SOLUTION: SPLIT HOST]

Alex screamed—for the first time in all his lives. It wasn't from pain, but from feeling too much at once. Love, fear, desire, freedom—everything he had suppressed for centuries tore out of him.

The pressure was too much. His soul fractured, becoming four separate beings.
