Caro's POV
As I was flying at a joyride speed, I came to the conclusion that after Tao finished training me I'd need to speed run the rest of my training. There's no telling how my parents are doing out there. Yea they're stronger but there's far greater threats out there, albeit those threats are probably at their weakest states currently but they're threats nonetheless.
I began approaching Tao while he was mid mission, so I stayed a distance away with a paper explaining the whole story and a simple sentence ready to be spoken to the man. I watched him as he walked up to a group of soldiers who looked to be working for the current world leader that wasn't even King Furry so I could let this one slide it's likely off screen canon that Tao kills this guy.
Tao was dipping and dodging incoming bullets at unimpressive speeds but it was as though he didn't move at his fastest, he waited for all of the movements to happen first and just at the last second he made a downward motion with his head and his pony tail snapped forward in front of his entire body. This movement wasn't ever seen but he broke the first soldier's neck instantly causing him to fly backwards at the remaining few soldiers behind and they caught him. Tao followed up without hesitation and in a split second he flipped forward without his hands touching the ground and both of his shoes launched off towards the back soldiers guarding the door to the king of earth incapacitating them as well, and to finish off half a dozen more he did something crazy. He spat out at them with extreme focus and the saliva in my perception looked as though it was hardened into solid mass and it went at most of the soldiers at speeds at least faster than sound penetrating their skulls ending them.
The last soldier trembled before Tao and Tao just smiled, he caught his coffee which even I hadn't seen him toss skyward before this interaction had happened. He delicately drank it as the soldier was ugly crying, begging and pleading for Tao to not do anything to him.
Tao said to the man, "Only a coward feels mighty when stepping on ants, I will let you go under one circumstance." And the man looked at him with tears still flooding his face but joy coming to his psyche. "What is the circumstance Mr.???" He asked in the most desperate pitiful tone a man could ever make.
Tao didn't reply with words but with an action.
He grabbed the man's pants creating an opening and then dumped the rest of his coffee on the man's nut sack causing him to scream in agonizing pain while Tao cracked the hell up.
"This bitch is cruel as fuck." I muttered to myself.
Tao immediately looked at me in the air somehow hearing me at this great a distance and I kind of froze. This man is a demon. Well no point in hiding and waiting so I descended downwards to Tao and threw the paper at him in a way that would kill anybody else but him, he caught it with ease and read the note.
"I'm not here to stop you from your mission I just want you to be my master." I said to him while bowing in respect.
As he finished reading the message his lingering eyes looked up at me in curiosity, how would I know about him and how am I flying is the look he's giving. Well this is about to be some shit isn't it.
Kami POV
"The boy may be steering himself in the wrong direction now, Popo you may have to intervene. He handed the cold blooded man a paper I can't read it's context but the bloodshed he watched and allowed the current world leader to be decapitated. This isn't good." Kami said with worry in his heart.
Popo stared in disbelief, even he had doubts of the boy but he just previously trained with masters of good intentions and will. Surely there had to be a mistake or some kind of reasoning to this he thought.
"What will you have me do?" Popo replied.
"Wait for the boy to sleep, that is the only time I've ever seen him be unable to be bothered by interference and possibly his only vulnerable time that we can take action." Kami replied with shame in his tone.
Kami warmed up Popo to the idea that this child could be a great asset to the world and possibly a candidate to the guardian position but being with such a heinous man created doubt in both of their hearts. Popo sighed and responded to Kami saying, "As you wish old friend." Then leaped from the top of the hideout to the ground in pursuit of stopping a possible greatest threat.
Ninja Murasaki POV
"This man is the ultimate warrior, I've never seen a large group of military men be so helpless to one unarmed man. He doesn't even have a weapon.." I muttered.
Seeing this display of great power, strength, and technique made me want to ask him to be my sensei. I was very confident in my ability but even I couldn't make something happen on that level of efficiency. Not confidently.
Just as this thought passed.. a toddler descended from the air?
Wide eyeing this flying child, there was so many thoughts coming by but only one truly mattered. I must train under that man who has to be the strongest on the planet. Prevail, I must. So I took my approach towards the two who seemed to be discussing something and as the first few steps happened, Tao looked in this direction and with his hands still behind his back I could tell he was getting ready to end my life.
I was startled in fear but I immediately reacted. "WAIT, I was sent here to do the same thing as you. You beat me to the punch and with the showmanship of such skill I want to ask that you train me to be like you." I declared at him ignoring the fact that a baby like kid literally just flew to this dangerous man.
"HAHAAAHAAHA. You both want me to be your master and I don't get anything out of this other than babysitting this brat and showing a rookie how things are done. I'll train one of you, whoever kills the other right now gets the right to be my student. You have five minutes to get it over with or I'll just end you both myself." Tao said with much sinister goofiness in his tone which caught me off guard to be honest. The baby didn't really look amused, concerned, or terrified. Only look on his face was annoyance. Was this towards me?? He can't be much he's just learned how to walk although if he can fly he isn't a pushover, I'll have to be on guard. So I threw ninja stars at the boy and threw down a smoke bomb to disappear into the nearby trees behind the boy, but he's never took his eyes off of me. I don't know what's scarier between what Tao just did or this boy. Wait.. the ninja stars broke on his face upon impact.
Tao himself looked on in shock, this wasn't something even he'd tank with difficulty let alone lightly with ease. He seemed more invested in the snot nosed boy so now I have to act fast.
Just as I launched what was supposed to be a surprise flying kick but ended up a regular flying kick, this brat turned back at Tao completely ignoring the incoming kick. Is he even normal at all? "Train him too it'll be best for me to have a partner and for later on when he comes." Caro said to Tao.
My kick made it's mark and as soon as it did my knee shattered on impact and my confidence went down like the stock market.
*CLICK CLACK SNACKET SNAP*
"AGHGGGHHHHHHHH MY LEG" I screamed in cowering and unbearable pain.
Narrator POV
Caro honestly didn't expect this guy to show face so early in the timeline, he's pretty irrelevant but he could be a better challenge for Kakarot when he has his journey is what he was thinking to himself when Tao proposed that they killed each other. He wouldn't waste such an opportunity nor would he destroy the timeline that he's not even ultimately sure of himself yet.
"Boy you're very bold almost as much as you are strange. Who are you really?" Tao asked.
"I'm Caro and I demand that you make this man your student when he's finished healing. Or else." Caro replied to Tao with bloodlust pouring all over the planet at this point from feeling threatened. Tao could not handle this pressure and literally began crying like a toddler himself out of nowhere, he was a great warrior but never came across such a thing in his life like Caro.
"Okay okay okay please just stop doing that it's hurting my instinctual pride. I can't take it anymore pleaaassee…" Tao cried out in a shameful manner.
Caro looked at the man in a way that the word disgust would be an understatement. He thought to himself that training with this guy and under this man? Yea this might be kinda useless.
