Chapter 1 - Prologue

All I can see is darkness. Beyond that darkness lies even more darkness. Then, I notice a light—a sphere of light. It is vast, containing numerous other spheres of light within it. Could these be universes? No… that can't be. The greatest scientist have proven that there is only one universe. Was he wrong about that?

And how am I able to comprehend this infinite information? The human brain shouldn't be capable of this—unless I am no longer human.

After a minute or so, I realize that I have no form. I have nothing other than my soul—a concept, an existence without a body.

I black out.

When I wake up, I see land—a vast, endless land stretching beyond the horizon. What am I? The only things I remember are the spheres I saw and fragments of my past life, but I can't remember how I died.

Am I human? No… I am a dragon that has taken human form. My arms are covered with reddish scales, and my back bears wings—large, crimson-red wings folded against me. Somehow, I am also wearing clothes. A peculiar thing, but… I don't really question it.

I still cannot see my face, but I can feel something else. Fire, acceleration, combustion, and explosion exist within this world as if they are part of me—no, as if I am them. It feels as though I govern them, as if I am the concept itself.

(You are the one who governs all of that.)

"Huh? Who said that?"

Before I can react further, a giant snake suddenly emerges and attacks me. It sends me flying through a mountain with tremendous force. The impact shakes the land, yet somehow… I survive.

Instinct takes over.

I accelerated beyond the speed of sound, the world blurring around me as I close the distance. I throw a punch straight at it.

But something is wrong—the attack passes through it.

My strike still carries enough force to obliterate the mountain behind it, shattering stone and dust into the sky, but the creature itself remains untouched, as if it isn't fully there.

I steady myself, confusion mixing with rising power, as the battle continues.
