Chapter 30 - Yuan God!

Shenyue Yuan carefully traced the chakra flow across the summoning scroll.

There it was—

A name already written.

Hanzo of the Salamander

"So this is your contract…"

He paused.

Then smiled faintly.

"No summoning beast of my own yet…"

"If I'm going all-in on poison—"

"This is the best choice."

A salamander.

A toxin king.

Perfect synergy.

He suddenly realized something.

These scrolls—

They weren't random.

They were everything Hanzo had ever learned.

"…So this is his legacy."

A so-called demigod of the ninja world…

And now—

All of it—

Was in his hands.

He chuckled.

"If I inherit everything…"

"Does that make me—"

"…Yuan God?"

A pause.

"…Yeah."

"I like the sound of that."

No hesitation.

"Let's begin."

He condensed wind-nature chakra at his fingertip—

Sharp.

Precise.

A clean cut.

Blood flowed.

He pressed his finger onto the scroll—

And wrote his name.

Blood Contract.

Complete.

No permission.

No negotiation.

A one-sided declaration.

But in the ninja world—

That didn't mean control.

Summoning beasts weren't tools.

They were partners.

Or enemies.

Naruto Uzumaki could summon Gamabunta as a kid—

But that wasn't skill.

That was the Nine-Tails backing him.

Without recognition—

A summon was just trouble.

Yuan closed the scroll.

"Not a problem."

"When cooldown ends…"

"I'll just beat it into submission."

Simple.

He stood.

Picked up his breakfast.

Started walking.

Then paused.

"…Wait."

"…Naruto."

Silence.

His expression turned strange.

"My job… is to capture him."

"The same kid who gave me money…"

"…so I wouldn't starve."

A long pause.

Then—

He grinned.

"…Alright."

"New plan."

"Recruit him."

He nodded to himself.

"Future Hokage…"

"and Akatsuki member—"

"…not mutually exclusive."

"As for the Nine-Tails—"

"I'll take that burden."

"Such suffering…"

"…I'll handle it for you, junior."

Pure logic.

Or pure madness.

"Why are you smiling?"

Konan's voice cut in.

Yuan nearly walked straight into her.

"You're about to collide with me."

He stopped instantly.

"…Sorry."

She studied him.

"You can sense surroundings, right?"

He shrugged.

"Not worth wasting chakra all the time."

She nodded.

Reasonable.

Then—

Her eyes shifted.

A green frog wallet.

In his hand.

And suddenly—

Her expression softened.

A memory.

Rain.

A small house.

Three children.

She raised her hand unconsciously.

"I want a rice ball."

Silence.

She froze.

Too late.

A rice ball was already in her palm.

"Thought you were hungry."

She stared at it.

Then took it.

"…Why were you… sensing me?"

Yuan immediately replied:

"You were staring at my wallet."

"I thought you wanted my money."

"…?"

"???"

Konan blinked.

"…You're impossible."

But—

She didn't argue.

Ten minutes later—

They arrived.

A massive steel tower.

The administrative heart of Amegakure.

Inside—

Scrolls.

Books.

Knowledge.

A vault.

"Everything here—"

Konan said,

"…was left behind by Hanzo."

Legacy.

War spoils.

History.

Yuan stepped inside.

His chakra spread.

Scanning.

Mapping.

Understanding.

"…Perfect."

He smiled.

"This is exactly what I need."
