Here's an original fantasy–adventure story in English:
The Last Ember of Eldoria
In a land where the sky shimmered with violet storms and forests whispered secrets, there once stood a kingdom called Eldoria. Magic flowed through its rivers like blood, and dragons soared above its crystal towers. But that was long ago—before the Great Silence fell.
Now, Eldoria was dying.
Villages had turned to ash, rivers had dried into dust, and the dragons had vanished. The only thing that remained was a prophecy—one that spoke of a hidden ember, the last fragment of magic, buried deep within the Forbidden Mountains.
And so, a girl named Lyra set out to find it.
Lyra was no knight. She had no sword, no armor—only a small dagger and a pendant her mother had left behind. But her eyes held something stronger than steel: determination.
"Magic isn't gone," her mother used to say. "It's just waiting to be found."
Lyra's journey began in the Hollow Woods, where shadows stretched unnaturally long and the wind sounded like distant voices. On her second night, she wasn't alone.
"You shouldn't be here," a voice echoed.
Lyra spun around, gripping her dagger. A figure stepped out from behind a twisted tree—a boy, cloaked in dark green, with eyes that glowed faintly like embers.
"I could say the same to you," Lyra replied.
The boy smirked. "Name's Kael. And unless you want to become tree food, you'll need a guide."
Reluctantly, Lyra agreed.
Together, they crossed cursed rivers and climbed jagged cliffs. Kael was quick and clever, always a step ahead of danger. But he carried secrets, and Lyra could feel it.
One night, as they camped beneath a sky cracked with lightning, Lyra finally asked, "Why are you really helping me?"
Kael hesitated.
"Because," he said quietly, "I've seen what happens if you fail."
Before Lyra could press further, the ground trembled.
From the darkness emerged a creature made of shadow and bone—a Wraith Beast, drawn to the last traces of magic.
"Run!" Kael shouted.
But Lyra didn't move.
Instead, she clutched her pendant. It began to glow—faint at first, then brighter, pulsing with warmth. The beast lunged, and in that instant, light burst from the pendant, pushing the creature back with a deafening roar.
When the light faded, the beast was gone.
Lyra stared at the pendant, stunned. "This… this is magic."
Kael nodded. "And it's waking up."
Days later, they reached the Forbidden Mountains. At their peak stood a broken temple, its gates sealed with ancient runes.
"This is it," Lyra whispered.
As she approached, the pendant burned against her chest. The gates trembled… and slowly opened.
Inside, at the heart of the temple, floated a single flame—the Last Ember.
It flickered weakly, as if on the verge of dying.
Lyra stepped forward.
But suddenly—Kael grabbed her arm.
"Wait."
His voice had changed.
Darkness crept along his skin, his glowing eyes now blazing with fire.
"I didn't tell you everything," he said. "I wasn't sent to help you."
Lyra's heart sank. "Then why are you here?"
Kael looked at the ember.
"To take it."
The ground cracked as shadows erupted around him. He was no guide—he was bound to the very force that had destroyed Eldoria.
"But…" Kael's voice wavered. "I didn't expect to care."
For a moment, silence filled the temple.
Then Lyra did something unexpected.
She stepped toward him.
"You still have a choice," she said softly.
The ember flickered.
Kael clenched his fists, fighting the darkness within him. "If I don't take it… I'll disappear."
"And if you do," Lyra replied, "everything else will."
The ember glowed brighter.
Kael closed his eyes.
Then, with a sharp breath, he stepped back.
"Do it," he said.
Lyra reached out and touched the ember.
Fire surged through her veins—not burning, but alive. Light exploded from the temple, racing across the skies, through forests, into rivers.
Eldoria awakened.
Grass pushed through ash. Rivers flowed once more. And far above, a dragon's roar split the heavens.
When the light faded, Kael was gone.
Only the wind remained.
Lyra stood alone… but not for long.
From the sky descended a dragon, scales shimmering like dawn.
And in its reflection, Lyra saw something new.
Not just a girl.
But the keeper of magic.
