Inside the chamber, tension slowly subsided,The King rose from the throne, slowly raised both hands, His crown glittering, His robe rises, coldness in his eyes. and announced
"By the power vested in me as the Sovereign of these Lands and the Keeper of the Sacred Orb…"
The King turned his gaze towards the students
"I grant you the title of… Heroes!"
His voice carried power, echoed throughout the room. His subordinates and royal guards rise in sync as they welcome the new Heroes of this World.
The students cheered
Haruto sighed with relief
Kazumi slightly smiled as she gazed towards the students cheering
Kenji crossed his arms while he watches the heroes
Shin Clicked his tongue "Tch"
Jin didn't react
The King tilt his head, gazed coldly towards the 5 failures with dissatisfaction.
"Now… What shall we do… With these failures!"
He laid his eyes off the prodigies, ti, slowly brushed his chin repeatedly.
"This is the first time in history… That the awakening resulted with 5 failed Heroes"
"In order to protect my kingdom's reputation"
Nod his head and blinked while thinking.
He then said
"I've decided…"
He looked at the prodigies with sharp eyes and uttered a command with a powerful voice.
"I hereby sentence you… to be executed immediately!"
Suddenly, the guards drew their weapons, surrounded the prodigies and threatened them.
The heroes worried in fear
Haruto expressed with intimidation.Turns his body rapidly in every direction, anticipating the guards next move.
Kazumi clasped her hands shaking, closed her eyes in fear.
Kenji was anxious, set his narrowed eyes towards the King and said to him
"This is ridiculous! "
Shin immediately draws his weapon, went on a defensive stance and irritated.
"Just try it! … And I'll kill each one of you"
Jin remained calm despite the situation, looked at the King and thought
"So that's your solution huh!..."
He slowly grinned
"But!-"
Suddenly…
"Wait!"
Souta's voice echoed inside the chamber and caught the King's attention
"It's not fair for them…They were abducted just like us"
His right hand ,slightly bent open palms facing downward.
The guards quickly sheathed their weapon and went back, breaking the tension in the room.
Haruto calmed down
Kazumi sighed with relief
Kenji let out a breath and adjusted his
glasses
Shin retracts his stance
Jin quietly Observing
The King lowered his hand and announced
"How about we settle this… through a match that features strength"
The King redirected his eyes on the heroes, pointed towards one of them and sad
"You there…"
A young intimidated student, bursting with anxiousness met the King's eyes pointing towards him.
He slowly pointed at himself and replied with a shaky tone
"Gulp-... M-Me?"
"You will showcase the strength of the Heroes in this match"
The King looked back on the prodigies
"Now then… which one of you weaklings will represent your group"
"I'll do it"
Shin stepped up immediately and said with certainty.
Haruto said with a worried tone
"Are you sure?"
Shin slightly tilts his head back, gaze cut sharp.
"I'm the only one capable of fighting here… aren't I?"
"Besides… It Ticks me off being underestimated"
Kenji nods in agreement and thought
"He's right… he's our only chance in this situation"
Kazumi clasped her hands and uttered
"Be careful"
Jin conversing in his thought
"Shin… I know you are skilled… Our chance in winning is high"
"But I have no idea what kind of power those heroes have, It may defy logic…Let's just observe the match first"
With a tone of uncertainty
The King announced
"Now then… Let's prepare the match"
"Off I go"
Shin uttered and walked with confidence towards the center of chamber
The students cheered for their representative
"Kaito… You can do it! "
"He will definitely lose…hahaha"
Kaito focuses on his opponent, body trembling and sweat dripping.

I just need an opportunity to blast him…Gulp!"
Shin prepares his stance to lunge, muscle tensed up, calves compressed for take off
"What's with that wimp!...too bad kid"
"You can blame that king for choosing you as a sacrifice"

Kaito saw his intimidating presence, lost his focus and started to panic
Suddenly…

The King's deep voice rippled.
Shin immediately takes off at lightning speed , leaving trails of dust, aiming to end this quickly
Kaito paralysed in fear
"H-He's coming at me so fast… I-I'm gonna die!"
He collapses on the ground, The distance between them is closing fast.
Shin reached out his hand aiming for the takedown
"I got you now!"
Just inches away–
Kaito opened his palm instinctively
"WIND BU–URST!"
He uttered in an act of desperation, eyes shut.
Suddenly…
*SWOOSH!*
Ripples of air emerged from his palm , A violent gust of wind blew towards shin
Shin Caught off guard
"W-What!?... Oof"

Shin was sent flying crashing through a solid wall, debris falling,dusts concealing Shin's state
Dust slowly fades away and reveals...
Shin is still breathing but battered up, blood on his head, broken arm, bruises on his body, slightly coughed blood.
Silence filled the atmosphere
Everybody in the chamber, Shocked in disbelief of the sight
A high school student over powered, humanities peak strength through magic.
Only Jin remained calm
Faintly smirked and said
