We entered the house yesterday night. It was a pretty and decent house. The most exciting part was that....
MY ROOM HAS A LITERAL WINDOW THAT CONNECTS TO THE ROOF!
I was literally jumping with excitement. The view was great!
This morning, I woke up. The cold breeze hitting my face. The new house was a literal different feeling. I got ready for the first day at Northvale University.
The uniform was nicer than I expected. A cute coat and skirt. Total k drama school vibes!
I did my hair extra nice.
Gotta make some good first impressions right?
I went downstairs for breakfast. Dad was already starting to have breakfast.
"You look nice!"
Mom beamed at me.
"Thanks"
"Why are you so cold?"
Daddy asked, confused.
"Nothing"
"You sure?"
"Yeah"
My mom just looked at me in confusion
I finally spoke up.
"are you gonna move out again?"
I asked daddy
"huh?"
"you've never let me maintain my relationships with people because of your work" I told him.
"I'm sorry. If the business works here, we might stay. If it doesn't...."
"It's fine. I've dealt with it until now. It's not like I can't anymore"
I told him. He looked down at his plate, disappointed at himself. I didn't say anything.
We finally got in the car. The whole journey was quiet. He pulled over at my university.
I got out, this is my new beginning. I turned to daddy, he couldn't face me. I started walking back when daddy suddenly called out.
"Livvy! Have a great day!"
He said after gathering all his courage up.
I smiled and waved him goodbye. I knew that would make his day. There wasn't a single day he ignored me. He was literally a great dad even though it may not seem like it. He truly values relationships. That's what makes our bond stronger.
After he drove away, I turned to look at the crowd.
It was loud
bright
chatters everywhere.
I walked in slowly, step by step.
It felt like entering a new world. A new me. A new life.
A new fate...
I went up to the lobby counter.
"Um excuse me. Where is room 765 second year English?..."
I asked to the lady at the counter who was practically delighted to see me.
"New student?!"
She asked excitedly. I nodded. Then...
A never ending yap session of her about the school, people, classes and how happy she is to have a new member at the school. I nodded to everything awkwardly. When she finally paused, I asked her again
"Uh where the classroom again Mrs...."
"Oh yes. I'm Mrs. Vascol. I'll show you your class!"
She started talking to me about her life and the school. By this time, I knew I would be late to class. When I finally reached the room, class had started.
I took a deep breath before opening the door.
Maybe this new chapter begin.....
