Chapter 7: The Place With No Names
The building didn't have a sign.
Just a quiet entrance, dim lights, and the kind of silence that whispered exclusive.
Mira hesitated.
"This doesn't look like a good idea."
Aarav stepped closer, his voice low.
"Most unforgettable things don't."
She looked at him—really looked this time.
Not just confident.
Not just charming.
There was something else.
Something… unreadable.
Still—
She walked in.
Inside, the space was warm, dim, intimate. Soft music, scattered tables, shadows that felt like secrets.
"Do you bring everyone here?" she asked.
"No."
"Why me?"
A pause.
Then—
"Because you walked into my night… and changed it."
Her breath caught again.
She hated how easily his words got to her.
Or maybe—
She didn't hate it at all.
