Part I: The Beginning
Before anything existed, there was only silence.
Not the silence of a quiet room or a still night. This was something far deeper. A silence so complete that even the concept of sound had no meaning. There was no light, no darkness, no space between one thing and another. There was no time to measure the waiting. There was simply... nothing.
Then Existence came to be.
No explosion. No grand declaration. It arrived the way a thought does, quietly, suddenly, and with absolute certainty. And from that single moment, everything else followed.
Seven fundamental forces emerged from it. Each one carried a purpose, a principle, a role in shaping the fabric of reality. Together, they built the universe and kept it whole.
Void stretched outward without end, carving the emptiness that gave all things room to grow. Time moved steadily forward, guiding the progression of everything that lived. Space expanded, forming the structure that held the world together. Energy drove it all, the engine behind every motion, every change, every phenomenon that ever unfolded. Order kept the balance, reining in Energy so it never went too far. Life rose from the passage of Time and spread across the universe in countless forms.
And then there was Will.
A force that had not yet acted. One that simply... watched.
For ages beyond counting, the seven existed in perfect harmony. No conflicts. No errors. Only balance.
Part II: The Fall
But balance, it turns out, is not permanent.
Of the seven, Energy was always the most volatile. It was the force that moved everything, and perhaps because of that, it was the first to break. Slowly, quietly, it became corrupted. No one could say exactly when it began or what caused it. But the signs were undeniable. Its power grew unstable, pushing beyond every boundary, threatening to consume all of creation.
The remaining six forces did something they had never done before. They came together.
Setting aside the separation that had always defined them, they sealed Energy away, burying it in the depths of nothingness to protect everything that existed. It was the only choice they had.
Countless ages passed. The world moved on, unaware of what had been hidden beneath it.
But now, the seal is weakening.
And whatever waits inside no longer seeks balance.
It seeks release.
Kael has been chosen for one reason. Not to destroy it, but to find the truth behind its corruption, and to free it from whatever has been done to it.
A task given to someone who does not speak unless it matters. Who does not act without first observing. Who carries the weight of what he knows quietly, and what he does not know even more so.
Part III: The Mission
The five forces that remain, Void, Time, Space, Order, and Life, cannot act directly. The power required to reach the seal would destabilize the very balance they gave everything to protect. So instead, each of them created a domain. A fragment of their own power, holding a key.
Five domains. Five keys. One path forward.
Kael must gather them all, reach the core of nothingness, and confront what Energy has become. Not as an enemy. But as someone searching for the source of its suffering.
He will not rush. He will not falter. He will move the way he always has, carefully, deliberately, with eyes that miss nothing and a silence that says more than most words ever could.
There is something else, though. Something that has been present since the very beginning.
Will has not moved. Not openly.
Its domain is hidden, somewhere beyond what can be seen. It will only reveal itself when the truth can no longer be avoided.
For now, it watches.
And it waits.
So does Kael.
