Necron

The Necrons are a race of mechanical warriors, created from the Necrontyr. They have lain dormant in their stasis-tombs for sixty million years. They are ancient beyond reckoning, pre-dating even the Eldar. At long last, however, they are beginning to awaken, seeking to reestablish the supremacy of the Necron Dynasties over the Galaxy once more. The domain of the Necrons is known to themselves as the Infinite Empire or Necron Star Empire. Currently, the conquered territories of the Necrons equals about a quarter of that of the spatial extent of the Imperium.

Trazyn the Infinite

Trazyn the Infinite is an ancient Necron Overlord of the Nihilakh Dynasty noted amongst his kind as a keeper of history and a preserver of artifacts and events on the Tomb World of Solemnace.

Before Bio-Transference Trazyn was a Necrontyr scribe and Chief Archivist who oversaw the mummification of Necrontyr Phaerons. He can not remember much detail of his past life due to self-installed protection protocols. Trazyn misremembers much of the past he can recall, such as insisting he was physically forced into Biotransference when according to Orikan he had embraced it.

Trazyn awoke from the Great Sleep prematurely and during that time sought to expand his collection, pledging that he would one day share it with the rest of his race when they fully awoke. Trazyn is officially a member of the Nihilakh Dynasty but largely operates independently. He has alienated himself from many members of his race and is known to be persona non grata to the Sautekh Dynasty while he is only barely tolerated by the Nekthyst Dynasty in exchange for his services.

The Silent King

Szarekh, known as the Silent King, is the supreme leader of the Necron race in Warhammer 40,000 and the Phaeron of the Szarekhan Dynasty. He is responsible for the biotransference that turned the Necrontyr into soulless Necrons, and he later shattered the C'tan, leading to his self-imposed exile and recent return to command the Necron dynasties against the Tyranids.
