Elina peeked out from under the blanket, just enough to scan the room.
Everyone was still there.
Watching her.
Smiling.
"…Great. First impression: unstable," she thought, slowly lowering the blanket.
She sat up carefully, brushing her hair back with forced elegance — or at least what she hoped looked like elegance.
"…Act normal. Calm. Graceful. Like a noble lady. Not someone who just screamed into a blanket," she reminded herself.
Across the room, Seo Hana watched quietly, her expression unreadable but her eyes… amused.
"Are you feeling better now, Tahee?" she asked gently.
Elina nodded.
"…Yes, I'm fine. Completely fine. Just woke up in another body, surrounded by dangerously good-looking people. Totally normal," she thought.
A faint cough came from the side.
Bogum turned his face away slightly, his ears suspiciously red.
Elina blinked.
"…Why is he blushing? Did I miss something? No… impossible," she thought, narrowing her eyes slightly.
Hyunjin, leaning against the wall, let out a quiet chuckle.
"Seems like you recovered well," he said, smirking.
"…This one is dangerous. He definitely notices things. Avoid. Or observe. Maybe both," she thought, tilting her head thoughtfully.
Felix crossed his arms. "You scared everyone, you know."
Elina immediately softened her expression, looking slightly guilty.
"…Good. Emotional attack. Works every time," she thought confidently.
Felix opened his mouth again—
—and stopped.
Again.
"…Forget it," he muttered, turning away.
Elina stared.
"…Okay. That's the second time. Something is definitely wrong here," she thought, eyes narrowing slightly.
Before she could analyze further, a familiar presence stepped closer.
Jeon Jungkook
He stood near her bed now, hands in his pockets, gaze steady and just a little too knowing.
"Rest well?" he asked casually.
Elina looked up at him, blinking once.
"…No. I woke up in a new life. But yes, let's go with 'rest well,'" she thought.
Outwardly, she nodded politely.
"Mm."
Jungkook's lips twitched.
Just slightly.
Elina froze internally.
"…Why does it feel like he almost laughed? No. No way. Stay calm. Don't overthink," she told herself quickly.
Behind him, Namjoon, Jimin, Hoseok, and Yoongi exchanged subtle glances, clearly entertained.
Elina caught that.
"…Alright. Everyone here is suspicious. Noted. Very noted," she thought.
She swung her legs off the bed, standing up slowly. The floor was cold, grounding her.
"…New life. New body. Powerful family. Handsome people. Suspicious reactions," she mentally listed.
Then a small smile formed.
"…Interesting."
"Tahee," Seo Hana called softly, "come eat something."
Elina turned toward her, nodding obediently.
"…Food first. Mystery later. Priorities," she decided firmly.
As she walked out of the room, she could feel their gazes following her — curious, amused… and something else she couldn't quite place.
Behind her, Jungkook spoke quietly, just loud enough for the others to hear.
"She's different."
A pause.
Hyunjin smirked. "Very."
Bogum didn't say anything, but his expression softened slightly.
Felix frowned, confused but thoughtful.
And Elina—
Walked ahead completely unaware.
"…Step one: act normal. Step two: observe everything. Step three…"
Her lips curved slightly.
"…Have fun."
