Chapter 312 - The Savior Has Arrived!

Elder Song cursed angrily, but she didn't have time to chase that old bastard anymore. Gritting her teeth, she forcefully suppressed the anger in her heart and suddenly turned around, charging toward the nearest Abyssal Evil Scythe!

"Everyone, hold on!"

Elder Song's voice exploded across the plaza. The cyan storm in her hands erupted once more, fiercely blasting onto the body of that Abyssal Evil Scythe!

The Abyssal Evil Scythe was knocked back a few steps, several cracks splitting open on its dark yellow carapace.

Elder Song did not give it a chance to breathe. The Cyan-Shadow Divine Eagle's wings flapped violently, and streaks of cyan wind blades poured out like a rainstorm, cutting into the body of the Abyssal Evil Scythe.

At the same time, she waved her hand casually, sending several wind blades sweeping toward the surrounding Four-Clawed Bats, slashing them into pieces.

However, Elder Song's breathing grew increasingly rapid. Several new wounds had appeared on her body, and fresh blood stained her clothes red.

She could feel that her stamina... was plummeting rapidly.

"This won't do... I must get rid of these Abyssal Evil Scythes first..."

Gritting her teeth, Elder Song forced herself to hold on. Her gaze swept over her surroundings, revealing a scene of utter despair.

Not far away, Elder Zhuang stood at the rear of the battlefield with his hands braced in front of him. His Tree of Life Spirit was fully unleashed, and streams of green light surged from his body, enshrouding the injured students and Sea God Pavilion elders.

As those green lights landed on the wounds, the flesh began to slowly heal.

However... Elder Zhuang's complexion grew increasingly pale, and fine beads of sweat seeped out from his forehead.

His Spirit Power... was being consumed far too heavily.

Ever since the battle began, he had been continuously healing others.

Student after student was sent before him, and elder after elder required his support.

His Spirit Power flowed away rapidly like running water.

"Hold on... hold on..."

Elder Zhuang muttered to himself, his voice filled with exhaustion. His hands were trembling slightly, but he did not dare to stop; once he stopped, those wounded individuals... would likely not be able to hold on.

Yan Shaozhe used his Bright Phoenix Spirit to force back an Abyssal Evil Scythe in front of him, then heaved heavy, ragged breaths.

His body was covered in wounds, and the empty sleeve of his right arm fluttered in the wind.

"That bastard Xuan Zi..."

He cursed in a low voice, his voice filled with fury.

"Running away at such a crucial moment... This is trying to kill us!"

Qian Duoduo couldn't help it either. While blocking the attacks of the Abyssal Evil Scythes, he cursed:

"Does this old fellow... have something wrong with his brain?!"

"Chasing a Spirit King-tier bat... and leaving all of us stranded here?!"

The two exchanged glances, seeing deep helplessness and despair in each other's eyes. Yan Shaozhe took a deep breath and exploded with power once again; the Bright Phoenix possessed a natural restraint effect against these Abyssal Creatures.

But even so... he could only barely stall one, and he had grown somewhat weak.

At the rear of the battlefield, the weaker students had already been arranged to leave. Teachers protected them as they retreated deeper into the academy.

Mu Jin stood at the edge of the crowd, her gaze sweeping across the battlefield before suddenly falling on Zhou Yi.

Zhou Yi was standing right beside the evacuating crowd, her eyes flickering, unsure of what she was thinking.

Mu Jin's brows knitted together fiercely as she sternly rebuked Zhou Yi:

"Zhou Yi! What do you plan to do?!"

Zhou Yi's body stiffened slightly. She turned her head and looked at Mu Jin's fury-filled face without speaking.

"Right now in Shrek Academy, everyone at or above the Spirit King tier must join the battle! Could it be that you want to be a deserter?!"

Although these Spirit Master-level combatants around the Spirit King tier lacked the ability to dominate the battlefield, they could still handle some Four-Clawed Bats or weaker Abyssal Creatures. Some had resolved that even if it was a drop in the bucket, they had to prevent the losses from expanding.

After hearing Mu Jin's words, Zhou Yi directly let out a cold snort.

"I don't plan to stay here and be buried with them."

Her voice was cold, devoid of any emotion.

Finished speaking, she abruptly turned around, shoving aside the students who were preparing to evacuate, and ran toward the outside of the academy!

Her speed was extremely fast, and in the blink of an eye, she disappeared into the crowd, not even calling out to Fan Yu.

Before Mu Jin could say anything, at that very moment, a few more Four-Clawed Bats pounced toward her.

Mu Jin's complexion instantly turned pale; her stamina was already nearly exhausted, and her Spirit Power was about to dry up.

Right at this moment, a shrill, miserable scream came from the other side of the battlefield!

Mu Jin abruptly turned her head, only to see a Sea God Pavilion elder whose chest had been pierced by the scythe-like forelimb of an Abyssal Evil Scythe!

Fresh blood gushed out, splashing all over the ground.

That elder widened their eyes, fresh blood gushing from their mouth, and with their last bit of strength, cursed at the top of their lungs:

"Xuan Zi...!"

"You... bastard...!"

This Sea God Pavilion elder had even voted for Xuan Zi, never expecting that fellow Xuan Zi would be such a bastard. As soon as the words fell, his body collapsed limply, losing all breath forever.

A Sea God Pavilion elder... had just died like this.

Everyone was stunned. The air was permeated with a thick stench of blood, mixed with an aura of despair.

The various Sea God Pavilion elders could not help but feel filled with grief and indignation upon seeing this scene, let alone the students.

You must know that the Sea God Pavilion elders were Shrek Academy's highest combat power. Now that Shrek Academy's highest combat power had suffered losses, what about the others?

Life was now like a candle flickering in the wind.

Despair spread once more; some fought to the death, while others gave up resisting.

...

In Shrek City, countless Four-Clawed Bats flew out from the direction of the academy, spreading across the entire city.

On the streets, civilians screamed and fled in all directions.

Those who failed to escape in time were pounced on and knocked to the ground by the Four-Clawed Bats, their sharp claws and fangs tearing into their bodies.

Fresh blood stained the streets, and screams rose one after another.

Spirit Masters resisted desperately, but... the number of these Four-Clawed Bats was simply too great.

One falls, ten surge up; ten fall, a hundred surge up, endless and inexhaustible.

"Help... Help me!"

"Won't someone save us!"

"Shrek Academy... What on earth has happened to Shrek Academy?!"

Right at this moment, a gentle golden light suddenly descended from the sky. That light was warm and sacred, scattering over everyone's bodies.

For those wounded by the bites of the Four-Clawed Bats, their wounds began to slowly heal.

As for those frantically attacking Four-Clawed Bats, after being enshrouded by that golden light, they let out a shrill, miserable screech, and their bodies actually began to dissipate!

Large swathes of Four-Clawed Bats turned to ashes within that golden Holy Light!

Everyone was stunned. They raised their heads and looked toward the sky.

High in the air, a figure was quietly suspended there.

That was a woman with long, dark green hair that gently fluttered in the wind. She wore a plain yet elegant long dress, the hem slightly swaying in the breeze. An aura of sacred warmth emanated from her body, and twelve flawless, jade-white wings were unfurled behind her.

"Is this an angel?"

"My injuries are healed?! That's wonderful!"

"Those monsters are dead! Wuwuwu..."

"We're saved... We're saved!"

The crowd in Shrek City was filled with disbelief. They raised their heads to look at that sacred figure in mid-air, their eyes brimming with gratitude and awe.

Right at this moment, several more powerful auras flew in from afar, appearing behind Ya Li. The auras emitted by this group of people were quite formidable.

Seeing this scene, the people of Shrek City couldn't help but light up with hope in their eyes.

"Are they here to save us?"

"So strong... These people... are all so strong!"

"I know, they are people from that Sky Shrek Academy!"

"We are saved, the savior has arrived!"

Someone recognized Zang Xin, who had directly defeated a Shrek Academy Sea God Pavilion elder in two moves that day, and their face was filled with shock.
