Chapter 103 - Chapter 100: Whisper Game

Chapter 100: Whisper Game

Seo Juhwan confirmed Min Gahe's status window and clicked his tongue inwardly.

'An S-rank talent is surprising, but...'

In some ways, the sheer number of talents she possessed was even more remarkable.

Originally, the status window only displayed the top 3 talents with the highest latent grades. However, if there were talents of the same grade among the top 3, additional talents would be listed. Among all the people he'd seen so far, Min Gahe possessed the most talents.

'Excluding the composition talent, she's maxed out most of her other talents.'

Shin Haneul, who had a hair fetish, had also raised most of her talents near their limits. However, that was because her profession and talents aligned well—hairdresser, styling, coquettishness.

In contrast, Min Gahe's highest-graded composition talent had the lowest proficiency. Even lower than the seemingly unrelated talents like baking and acting.

[It seems she tried many different fields. It's unusual that she maxed out five talents, but... having many talents isn't particularly special. And the lowest proficiency in an S-rank talent isn't either.]

'Is that so?'

[Yes. Most people have at least one or two outstanding latent talents. However, unlike you, they can't see their status window, so many never discover their talents in their lifetime.]

'Why does Min Gahe have so many talents?'

[Because they're B-rank talents. In other people's cases, higher-ranked talents simply weren't displayed. It's quite common for people to have multiple B-rank talents.]

The explanation made sense.

Thinking about it, the lowest grade he'd seen among the talents so far was B+. Those people might also have several other talents not listed in their status window.

Once his doubt was resolved, Lucy explained the fetishes as usual.

[Ochlophilia is a crowd fetish—arousal felt when in crowded places. Min Gahe's excitement at the club might not have been solely because of the performance.]

[Aphephilia is a syndrome where people feel arousal when others touch their bodies. People with this syndrome usually enjoy physical contact. In severe cases, they even enjoy being groped.]

After hearing the explanation, Seo Juhwan thought it suited Min Gahe well. He recalled how she hugged him and bounced excitedly right after the performance ended.

'Didn't she say it was her first time at a club?'

That might be why she was so excited.

So what should he do to win Min Gahe's favor?

Then he heard a voice calling out to him, pulling him from his thoughts.

"Oppa? Juhwan oppa?"

"Huh? What?"

Looking ahead, Min Gahe was staring at him with a puzzled expression. Her blue hair swayed as she tilted her head.

"Oppa, what are you thinking about so hard? You're giving me the creeps."

His stare must have been fixed on her while viewing the status window.

Seo Juhwan felt a moment of panic but quickly covered it up with an excuse.

"Oh, it's nothing. Your hair color is interesting, Gahe. It came out really pretty."

"Oh, right? It suits me well, doesn't it!"

His excuse, intended to change the subject, unintentionally touched on her interests. Min Gahe was delighted that he'd taken an interest in her hair and spoke while running her fingers through it.

"I really went for it with this one. I thought all my hair would fall out during the bleaching. Tell me it suits me quickly."

"Yeah, it suits you. What's the color called? It doesn't seem like just blue."

It was a question born from the excuse, but truthfully, Min Gahe did suit the blue hair color quite well. It was a difficult color to pull off, but her somewhat innocent nature created harmony with it. Blue was cool-toned, yet it gave off a fresh, refreshing feeling.

She smiled with her characteristic playful laugh and said:

"It's cobalt blue. But thinking about how the color will fade in a few days is so disappointing."

As he asked appropriate questions and responded, Min Gahe cheerfully chattered away.

While she was chattering, a server arrived.

"Your food and drinks are here."

The side dishes included assorted fries along with cheese, sweet potato sticks, and mango punch. The rest were all soju and beer.

Seo Juhwan spoke quietly so only Lee Junghoon could hear.

"Hyung, is this a side dish you're confident about?"

The menu was entirely chosen by Lee Junghoon.

Lee Junghoon shrugged casually.

"Just something I said. I deliberately didn't order any soup-type dishes. Are you going to fill your stomach with side dishes? You need to get them drinking."

"Ooh. Such a deep meaning."

"Just trust hyung. Since you're part of this, this is what I should handle."

"Hyungnim, I trust you."

"Alright."

There was intention even in the food order. I need to observe and learn. For drinking with girls: dry side dishes. Fill them with alcohol, not food. Noted.

As he and Lee Junghoon whispered to each other, Min Gahe puffed out her cheeks and spoke.

"Why are you two talking alone?"

"Oh, sorry. The food's here, so should we play a drinking game?"

Lee Junghoon quickly intercepted and suggested.

The blue-haired girl, Min Gahe, lit up at the word "game."

"A drinking game? Great! Is that okay with you, Seulgi?"

"I'm fine. I'm just worried about you, frankly."

"Tch. What about me?"

"Ugh. You're like a fool."

"Then you're a witch, Seulgi!"

The two were already bickering again.

Before the conversation could go on, Lee Junghoon cut in.

"Okay. We're doing this, right? Do you guys know the whisper game?"

"The whisper game? What's that?"

Both women seemed to be hearing it for the first time.

Actually, Seo Juhwan had also never heard of this game before. The drinking games he knew from his college days were only 'Baskin-Robbins' and 'The Game of Death,' which he'd been half-forced to participate in.

Lee Junghoon, a game expert, chuckled and explained the game.

"Then before we start, let me explain it simply. The whisper game is..."

The rules of the whisper game were simple.

First, you establish an order and whisper a question to the person next to you. The person then answers by pointing or shaking their head—using gestures. Importantly, the question must not be spoken out loud.

Anyone who wants to know what the question was can take a drink. Those who don't drink won't hear what the question was.

In other words: if you're curious, drink.

After finishing his explanation, Lee Junghoon raised his glass.

"First, let's empty about two glasses and start. I'll make some somaek."

Before the real start, the idea was to get slightly tipsy so they could increase the intensity of the questions.

Lee Junghoon quickly made somaek. After raising it with a clinking sound, they drank it smoothly—gulp, gulp. So this was the golden ratio.
