My eyes slowly snapped open, and I sat up on the bed, gently massaging my temples when Ryker walked toward me. He gently pulled my hands away and replaced them with his, massaging softly.

Plus, the room was much darker. The curtains covered every part of it, as if they were blocking any form of gossip from reaching me.
