"What's the system?" Thyrian asked and I pointed to the seat.
"Have a seat, I need to chat with you guys real quick," I said and they did so. Liora gently squeezed my palms and walked off with her eagle beastmen.
"Cat, telling them wouldn't have any effect right?" I asked and she appeared right in front of me.
"I have no say in that. But if you do wish to tell them, you should," she said and I nodded, turning my gaze back at them.
"The system gives me tasks, like missions, and I have deadlines so when I pass I get rewarded but when I fail...I might g-get um..."
"Eliminated? Killed?" Azrael asked and I nodded positively, and each of their faces shifted uncomfortably at my words.
"So are most of the tasks about us? Is that why you became nice to us, was it all part of the mission?" Veyra asked and I stretched out my hands, shaking them.
