''I really can't return.'' Amina murmured under her breath as she continued to lay on the bed with her blank eyes facing the light pink ceiling.
After the past four days, she has finally come to a difficult conclusion.
She was dead and alive; dead as Amina the zookeeper, alive as Amina of the Blackthorne family.
A novel character who shared her name.
''What's going to happen now?'' Amina was unsure about this new life. She tried sleeping forcefully to return to her own life in the past four days. However, she would always wake up in the same bedroom, which was the size of her entire apartment.
''Delivery Notification: The Western Beast Academy has delivered your uniform, Young miss.''
A robotic voice suddenly sounded from above.
''Thank you, Orion.'' Amina thanked the butler robot, who served as the only servant of the Blackthorne family.
''My pleasure, Young miss.'' Orion said in his calm, mechanical tone. ''Would you like your breakfast delivered to your room, Young miss?''
''Yes, Orion.''
''Understood, Young miss.''
The conversation between her and Orion ended with a few words. Amina guessed the butler robot was already preparing her breakfast.
It seems I have to live here as Amina Blackthorne.
Amina felt this was the only option for her. She couldn't just reveal to anyone that she was not Amina Blackthorne, but Amina from another world.
''I wonder if she's in my body?'' Amina speculated if Amina Blackthorne was in her body since she was here. However, could her body still be alive?
A tiger had attacked her after all. Her body might have bled to death before any of colleagues could have rushed her to the nearest hospital.
Should I hold a funeral? Amina couldn't help but think this way. She wasn't sure if Amina Blackthorne was in her body and alive, or simply dead and gone.

Amina sat up on the bed with the intention of moving over to the desk on the side of the bedroom.

Amina wouldn't have read 'The Sweet life of Rosaline' if not to pass away time, and also if her colleague hadn't insisted that she must read the novel.
She hadn't felt anything after reading the novel and simply returned the book to her colleague. Though if she were to be honest, she preferred the villainess's character to the female lead.
For someone as quiet and dull as herself, the villainess' way of agreeing to break the engagement and quietly disappearing from the female lead's life was better than what her colleague had desired to read about her.
With how the male leads obsessed over the female lead in the novel, Amina preferred the villainess's type of quiet life.
Since the outcome for villainess is to fade away from the female lead's life after breaking the engagement, I should act like the villainess and agree to the Crown Prince's request.
Amina scribbled 'break the engagement' on the paper.
Though I fainted when I was supposed to break the engagement with the Crown Prince.
Her mind drifted back to the four days ago when she had arrived in Amina Blackthorne's body. A visitor? Amina's pen paused mid-stroke at the sound of Orion's mechanical voice.
''Who is the visitor, Orion?'' She asked, wondering who would likely visit Amina Blackthorne. According to the memories in her head, Amina Blackthorne hadn't been in the Blackthorne family for long to have an active social circle.
''The Crown Prince, Young miss.'' He confirmed the identity of the visitor after a brief pause. ''He wishes to know the status of your recovery.''
